The owners are giving it their all, and that should be celebrated in our neighbourhood.“

“They serve some great Palestinian cuisine! Except they call it Israeli which confuses me since that place didn't exist until 1948, but the food existed as Palestinian food there for centuries prior. So I'm not sure about the authenticity..“

“Service is good and very fast. Food is amazing. I haven't had authentic Egyptian food before so I don't know how authentic it would be to an Egyptian person but it looked pretty authentic and tasted great.

Dine-in area is small, seats around 15 people max so reservation is recommended for guaranteed seating. We visited around noon, right after they opened and we didn't need a reservation.

The interior is nice, simple touches here and there that tie in really well with the theme. Highly recommended. Not cheap but not pricey at all“

The owner cut the meat fresh off the rotisserie, most shawarma shops pre cut their meats & have sit in a heating compartment which dries it out. Beef was amazing with extra beef fat on the rice, chicken was juicy. He gave me extra beef fat when I asked with no issues.

Pay cash and get a free drink. Support this family ran restaurant. The owner is so nice and warm. Welcoming & out going. Will 10000% return.

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“First time at Tomas Grill at 3700 Steeles Ave west and the food was delicious. We were meet by the owner who was so kind, considerate and took it upon himself to make us a platter full of a variety of food. The meal started with appetizers followed by the platter.
