“Oh boy where do i begin. The aura the you feel when you walk in is unmatched. The workers greet you and ask what you want in an upbeat attitude which a smile and open arms. The food there is probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly life changing. I’m proudly their number 1 fan and will die on the hill of it being the number one shawarma place in the world. 10/10 ?“

“A childhood favourite of mine… food was not as fresh as I remember though. Server was nice but seemed overwhelmed, perhaps short staffed? Lentil soup was the one dish that tasted just like I remember. Overall, will go again, but not the same as it used to be.“

“I went to Ali Baba's for dinner and I ordered a Chicken Platter. The amount of food they gave especially the chicken was incredible. Everything tasted good and I was pleased when they reheated the potatoes on the grill for me. The store environment was clean and nice, (a typical shawarma restaurant) but the would made this particular spot great was the tissue boxes on each of the tables. This was great, especially compared to any other restaurants that will offer 2 small napkins that are almost transparent. Customer service was great, very friendly. I would go back again for sure.

“I recently visited first time Osmows Shawarma and had a fantastic experience with this location, thanks to Vishnu. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my order was perfect. As it was my time and I didn’t know about the menu but he took the time to explain the menu and even gave great recommendations. His positive attitude and efficient service made my visit fabulous. The food was delicious, but the outstanding service really set this place apart. Highly recommend!“

“This is the third time I’ve been here, and I have to say that the food and the service is beyond exceptional. Honestly speaking, this is the best in its category of cuisine. The meat was so tender it was falling off the bone, made fresh, and tastes amazing. The rice is always tasty topped with friend onions generously. Provided us with complimentary tomato soup, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had.

“We were celebrating a birthday and the food did not disappoint. We did notify the restaurant via open table and when we checked mentioned the bday but it was not acknowledged. We ordered the large salatim platter for appetizer but waited over 45 minutes for it. The server apologized a few times for didn't offer an explanation or gesture. The pita were hot and soft and all the dips were delicious. We then waited and waited for our mains (more apologies) had chicken schwarma (portion was not overly generous) which was also delicious. Had some salami and potatoes and yummy drinks. The food was so good I would be tempted to go back and hopefully the service slip was just an off night.“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“Really good and flavorful shawarma, especially with saj bread. The family that owns the place is very nice....they make you feel welcome.

One thing I will note as I do frequent this place, maybe once a week: Going in the early afternoon my portion is significantly larger than when I go in the evening. For some reason, the morning crew is a lot more generous. Maybe just a coincidence although its a trend I noticed over 1.5 years

Overall, 5/5.....can't really complain“
