“We have been enjoying the food at Asa Sushi for 10 years on a weekly basis. It is a family owned business specializing in Japanese cuisine, we especially enjoy the Salmon Lovers Entres and the Fusion Rolls. The food is generous, fresh and presented nicely either in-house or as delivery options. The owners are very customer focused, accommodating and service is exceptional. We consider this our go-to Sushi place and are very fortunate they are in our neighborhood.”

“The food is so great! I feel like I'm in Brazil! You got to try the feijoada on Saturdays.”
“Our flight was delayed quite a while so we left the airport and found this amazing restaurant, we are so happy we did! The food was incredible I had the Halibut with a side Greek salad and my husband had the grilled cheese with ham and homemade chicken rice soup. The service was amazing our server Marykay was incredible as was Peter another family member and everything was so fresh and well prepared. Such a welcoming atmosphere, we definitely will be back and I highly recommend this place!!”
“This is by far the best Shawarma place I’ve been to. I was served by a very wonderful young man with amazing a service. We was very fast and efficient and very helpful with my order. I happened to get his name which is Pedro and I will always come back and ask him to work on my food.”
“This is a little local gem. Food is superior to any cafe I know. Wine selection, prepared food, frizen pies are superb. Everything about it is pretty special.
Its really a casual but uplifted food place, not a cafe with some pastries.
Their sandwiches are a delight. Sourcherry pie is to die for. Franitta's are like no other.”

“The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were exceptional. The establishment is very clean and has an upscale feeling with home like treatment. The owner came around to check on each table. Warm and welcoming. My 9 year old grandson loved his food and pinches of the cheek from the maître d’. 😆 We’ve been before and will definitely come back again.”
“I went to their branch near Wilson before and didn't particularly like it but decided to check out this branch. I think their quality of pizza was a lot better, shawarma was juicy and the garlic sauce was great! Service is very straightforward as its more like an order and head out kind of place. Conveniently located outside the subway station!”
“My husband is from Honduras and hadn’t eaten Honduran food in two years. We drove from Kitchener to enjoy the food at this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Delicious food, great service, and a wonderful community of people.”
“This restaurant is fantastic. I ordered a Margherita pizza and a pepperoni pizza, both were delicious, especially the Margherita. The staff was also very friendly and even gave us a free garlic bagel. The restaurant is also very clean and a great place to dine in.”

“I would like to note that you have a very good team: all staff are always friendly, serve food, and are ready to help. There are no issues with the service — it’s excellent.
The only request:
• Please clean the tables thoroughly, as the varnish makes them sticky.
• The entrance door is very dirty, with hair on it — it looks unpleasant and untidy. This is the first impression of your restaurant.
Thank you!”
“Best place on the Earth (unfortunately not 24/7). Can't imagine Canada without Tim Hortons. Keeps you warm when cold, helps to cool down when hot, and makes sure you're not hungry when you're short on time or need something delicious out of a proven and approved by community menu (and if someone disagree, talk it out please, because here's people first).”
“I was so pleasantly surprised that there's such a wonderful Japanese restaurant not far from me.
The food is fresh, delicious, and served in a manner pleased for eyes.
The portion is great and prices are reasonable.
To be full, you need just 20-30 dollars per person.
I am not even say how friendly staff are. They are here for help, but not overwhelmed you by their presence.
It was great experience for me and my family. I am so appreciated for spending time in Goen.”

“If you’re a gelato lover, do yourself a favour and visit Bar Ape Gelato in Toronto!
We tried the chocolate, lime trio, and yogurt sage & lemon soft serves, and every single one was incredible. The chocolate was rich and decadent, while the lime trio and yogurt sage & lemon were bright, refreshing, and packed with real flavour.
But the absolute star of the show was the pistachio gelato bar. Oh. My. Gosh. It was hands down one of the best gelato treats I’ve ever had. The pistachio flavour was intense, creamy, and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, just pure pistachio goodness in every bite.
You can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. Bar Ape completely lives up to the hype. We’ll definitely be back to try more flavours!”
“This is a really great place to go grab a quick cheap bite! It usually has long lines, but if you go at the right time there won’t be any. As for the coffe itself, it is pretty mediocre. I really enjoy the scones though. The Becky’s also have a plastic taste to them. So if you go, I only recommend eating the scones.”
“I have been ordering from Oink Oink consistently for a while now. They have helped me get through late night exam prep with the best Nutella and banana crêpes in town. I placed my first order requesting for less Nutella and, since then, all my orders have been with less Nutella without me having to specifically request it. Their attention to detail is amazing, and their crêpes are top notch! 10/10 service always!”
“Honestly one of the BEST bakeries in Toronto and Canada! I love how the focus is on the food and service and therefore there’s No need for a fancy ambience when the products are so good!
The best cannoli, giardoni and eclair.
It was the first time I tried the Giardoni here and it’s too good - rich texture, amazing flavour and you need to try it out. Also the young girl who helped me was so kind and helpful. The owner is truly kind as well and honestly such a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re lucky, they also have half off on some of their pastries on a few days!
A true gem!”
“Love the sushi from this place. Absolutely love the sushi it is my go to place whenever I order sushi. They are great for in restaurant dining and take-out. The sushi is always fresh, they are also big. I have been going here for years and will continue to come back.”
“By far the most selection of vegan pizzas in the city and they taste amazing. I especially am a big fan of the vegan pesto base, and the diverse vegan meat alternatives options at hand. the best vegan garlic bread, especially when vegan cheese is added. they are in my top 3 choices and the second place I've come across with vegan pesto- that's a rarity! so many thanks to their great efforts at making amazing vegan pizzas!”
“Great food. Not busy when we were there Thursday for lunch. Our waitress was lovely and not pushy (no server there is so you can relax!). Good value. My client who had never tried Lebanese food before loved it...and I brought home dinner for my son who was thrilled too.”
“Ordered their egusi and pounded yam on doordash, food is great in terms of taste and it was fresh. I’m giving them a 3 cos they are too pricey it’s actually ridiculous!
I also paid for extra pounded yam but didn’t get it (probably missed it though but i’m pained cos i paid for it and it’s expensive)
UPDATE- you actually pay extra if it’s pounded yam, so i didn’t pay for extra pounded yam, my bad. Now updating to a 4 since the price is the major issue.”

“There is no other bagel you need to eat in the GTA. None. Primrose continues to nail the perfect texture and taste, and their commitment to perfection is amiable. Every time I go I buy extra to share with friends and family and convert them to the Primrose way. They are always happy. This is the way.”
“Café Daki gets its name from the Greek word kafedaki — “a small cup of coffee” — and that pretty much sets the tone.
Tucked into St. Clair West in Toronto, this tiny-but-mighty café delivers a distinctly European feel with a soft touch of Greece. The footprint is small, but the execution is thoughtful enough that nothing feels missing. It’s the kind of space that makes you reconsider what “small” can actually do.
When you walk in, there’s a charming little nook to the left — potted plants, a vintage-style table, a mirror that bounces the light just right. Cozy without trying too hard. On the opposite wall (only a few feet away), a slim row of seating (4-5) makes dine-in possible without crowding the space. Every inch feels intentional.
There’s a refrigerated retail section stocked with water, hummus, packaged drinks, and desserts. A small board highlighting local businesses adds a community touch. One of my favourite details? A bicycle mounted along the wall with a wooden plank across the top, cleverly used to hold lids, tissues, and essentials. Functional, but also very aesthetic.
The coffee program is strong. They use beans from De Mello Coffee Roasters, and the classic espresso menu is all there — plus traditional Greek coffee. (Quick tip: drink it while it’s hot; let it sit too long and the grounds rise to the top.) Alternative milk options are plenty — oat, almond, coconut, soy — and their tea selection features premium blends from Sloane Fine Tea Merchants.
The baked goods lean Greek in the best way — spanakopita and tiropita that are flaky, savoury, and genuinely satisfying. On the retail shelf, you’ll find De Mello beans alongside Greek extra virgin olive oil and thyme honey — small details that round out the story.
Café Daki proves you don’t need square footage to create atmosphere. Just intention, warmth, and a very good cup of coffee.”
“This is such a lucky find. I was craving samosa for the last two days and I was going to make them myself only to discover I don’t have all the spices needed. Being a rainy day February 20 2026 and not feeling the greatest I didn’t want to drive around in rush hour traffic. I came upon this place and I’m really grateful. They really do serve hot fresh home cooked food. I got three samosa and Chana masala and plain naan. Everything was made fresh by the three family members. Everything was flavourful without being too overpowering (I was worried about the Chana masala being too heavy on the onion and garlic but it’s wasn’t). The sweet sauce with the samosa was so good. I was sweating eating everything lol (I don’t think it’s every spicy it’s likely because I have been eating a lot of bland food lately) but I think that’s a good sign and just what my body needed to help me feel better. Overall my total was either $14 or $16 and it was really filling. While I was waiting there was another man there getting a large order and then another man came in and asked me if the food was good there. So we both came across this place randomly today and were trying it for the first time. If you see this I hope you also enjoyed your meal!
The man who originally answered the phone and the woman working the front were all so accomodating , patient and kind. Thank you :) I’ll probably be back tomorrow :)”

The donuts were super moist and tasted fresh! Super genuine, it felt like i was eating the ones back home.”

“We just at the single best fish and chips dinner of our lives!!! Holy mackerel!! This was excellent!! Onion rings are to die for!”
“We got the mussels and sausage pizza. Both were delicious. The mussels tasted fresh and the broth needed to be soaked up with bread! Pizza was thin, crispy and had more cheese than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the meal. Our server was very nice and attentive. I will be back.”

“I have been here many time, the menu is small only 10 items but I like all of them. I usually always get the steak, the tacos and pupusas are good too, and the soups beef or chicken are tasty.
The little variety store, when they have stock, has a nice selection of Guatemalan grocery items.”
“Bar Burrito is a great place if you’re craving fresh and flavorful Tex-Mex food. The burritos are generously filled with a variety of ingredients, and you can customize everything to your taste. The tortillas are soft and warm, and the fillings like rice, beans, grilled chicken, and fresh veggies blend perfectly with their sauces.
The staff is usually friendly and quick, making the experience smooth even during busy hours. The portions are satisfying, and the food tastes fresh and well-prepared. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick, tasty, and filling meal. Highly recommended for burrito lovers! 🌯”
“Wow I finally got the Shanghai Lumpia pork and It was delicious, thank you Susan for the delicious lumpia! And the turron omg just like old times, thank you xo
See you soon!!”
“This place is great! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.”
“Great customer service one of the better-performing locations, consistently delivering fresh chicken, well-balanced sauces, and clean preparation compared to weaker branches; portions are generous and service is efficient, making it a reliable fast-food shawarma option.”
“This place is amazing. The owner, Linda was so warm and inviting she made us feel like we were being welcomed into her home. The food also tasted like a real home cooked meal. Everything is homemade including the pastel de nata as you can see in the photo - it was by far the best one I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend!”
“I have visited the restaurant several times, and I can confirm the food is delicious, always well served, good portions (I have attached pictures, keep in mind some are half doses of the requested food). The customer service is excellent, super friendly and very professional.
I will be coming back, my go to restaurant.
Highly recommend.
Parking is available across the street, huge parking lot.”
“We were so happy when we found out that this Pai location was in our neighbourhood and it has now become a staple. We don't notice a difference from the downtown and Eglinton locations - it's the exact same quality and portion sizes. We also love that they are so accommodating about substitutions and making items gluten free. Never a bad meal here!”
“African players mannnn the best hot spot in tdot food on point music lit the dj best ever the people there r like family”
“One of my family members said this is the best place for Portuguese food in Toronto. We were hungry so we thought we would give it a try. We phoned through our order and went and collected it and once it was home we tucked in. The food was EXCELLENT! There was plenty to go round and for us all. Highly Recommended!”
“Authentic Colombian spot tucked near TTC Line 5 🇨🇴 — strong Latin American vibe, Spanish-only menu, and massive brunch portions piled with plantain, chorizo, fried pork belly, eggs, avocado, rice, and beans. The Buñuelo cheese bread was somehow tastier than the mains. Beautiful local business — definitely worth a shot 👍.”
“Typical traditional portuguese restaurant that's been around for decades (new ownership apparently according to their Google page).
We had a large party of about 25, but the cook wasn't consistent by serving a few guests rare steaks when asked for medium-well, and someone had a portion of their fish fillet that was raw. One steak was returned, only to get it rarer then the previous one sent back. They should invest in a better grill or cook.
Otherwise, the food tasted good but given the inconsistency, no one wanted to come back.”

“I had an amazing experience at Popeyes! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming aroma of freshly cooked food set the tone. Their fried chicken is absolutely top-notch—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The spicy chicken is a game-changer for anyone who loves bold flavors, while the classic version is just as satisfying.”
“Tuesday Sept. 9, 25 . I went there with 3 other friends because we all hungry. The foods and prices were very good. No complaints, It's not class A restaurant and service. It's clean and simple and the most important thing is good food. Strongly recommend to try it out. The owner is friendly.”
