“We were visiting Toronto, so I pre-booked a special meal for my husband to surprise him, something he had not eaten in 9 years - real pounded yam. The sound of the mortar and pestle, like music to his ears! The food was amazing, vegetable on-point! He was so pleased, he didn't eat anything else that day.
The staff were very pleasant, chef Made also visited our table while we enjoyed the meal. It was worth every dime. Thank you, we will surely be visiting again.
Sorry we almost finished the food before I remembered to take a picture!“

“This was my first time trying Nigerian cuisine and I was blown away by the delicious food! Service was super friendly and accommodating as well. We started with the chicken wings tossed in hot honey with yaaji spice (ginger peanut bbq rub) -super crisp and juicy! We ordered spicy which was the perfect balance of heat and flavor. My favorite dish was the egusi and greens! My Nigerian friend ordered the pounded yam for me to eat the soup with. It’s like a thicker mashed potato, fresh and an excellent compliment to the savory soup! The soup was chock full of chicken and seasonings I couldn’t quite place, bold and savory flavor! We also ordered the cauliflower in a peanut sauce-perfectly fried and great to eat with the wings! My partner ordered the party jollof rice-delicious almost barbaque flavored rice layered with flavors of a seafood and sweet spice stock 😋 And the slow and plantains were the perfect accompaniments! I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious food with lots of heart poured into it.“

“I ordered the jollof rice with chicken and plantain, while my husband chose the jollof rice with beef. The highlights of our visit were the inviting atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, and the fun activities—we especially enjoyed playing ludo and opon ayo.
On the downside, the rice could have used more spice, and both the chicken and beef would have been better served hotter. That said, the beef had excellent flavor, and the plantains were served perfectly hot. If I’m back in town, I would definitely order the beef.“

“The food was so good that I had to j hold myself back from eating more so I could share it with my folks after. They gave me more soup so that my folks could get the real experience. They're was another family there who had two kids. They put on kids shows so that they could be entertained and also held their baby while they ate and chatted. Would definitely recommend. The place is along the sorry end of the building plaza and has limited seating but 100% worth it.“
“Keyo's Pot may be a home kitchen, but the quality of the food speaks for itself! I ordered the egusi soup, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and just like home in Nigeria. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into preparing each meal, and you can truly taste the freshness and hygiene. The spice level was just right, and I enjoyed every bite. Thank you for the amazing soup! I highly recommend Keyo's Pot.“

“Our favourite Nigerian cuisine by far! The way the food here tastes in comparison to other restaurants is on a much higher quality level. The cooks are on point, and have been working there for years. The owner, Funmi is extremely friendly and caring.Highly recommend the egussi soup, pounded yam, and goat meat or assorted meat. Their jollof rice is also extremely tasty and we enjoy the beans as well.“

“Rita’s kitchen owner please my humble question, aside that fair tall lady with pimples , can’t you get anyone to cook or serve customers…. Because she is making you loose customers each and every day.. and I guess so many complaints has been done and you people are still keeping her.
I complained to her last week Friday with regards to a food she served us being soo spicy and her response to my complaint was rude as if I don’t know what I’m saying.. I was pissed with her response but my partner ask me to ignore it because that’s her character… We just went there to buy because of the comments I gave over her last time, she told me they don’t have that food… whilst leaving your shop, I heard the woman with shaved her asking her why she didn’t sell the food and she told her she wouldn’t sell it because I passed a comment… I’m at golden gate now eating and I’m gonna make sure my friends don’t come there to eat too , if we are always gonna be met with rudeness for buying food from your shop… thank you“

We tried the Fu-Fuo(potato dumpling),Jollof Rice(chicken&egg) served with mixed spinach.
Owner was very friendly and the spice was just right and still have left overs for today.
We are happy we tried this place. Next time fish dish“
