“I have been ordering from Oink Oink consistently for a while now. They have helped me get through late night exam prep with the best Nutella and banana crêpes in town. I placed my first order requesting for less Nutella and, since then, all my orders have been with less Nutella without me having to specifically request it. Their attention to detail is amazing, and their crêpes are top notch! 10/10 service always!“

“Wandered into Barbary Ape on Friday evening after a long week of flights and it was exactly the kind of spot that surprises you. The taxidermy and old world decor covering every wall gave it this eccentric, almost speakeasy vibe that made me put my phone away for a while. Staff at the bar knew the history of half the pieces on display and happily pointed out their favorites when asked. Small detail but the low lighting and worn leather seating around 7pm made it feel more like a private club than a tourist stop, easily worth the detour.“

“Absolutely one of the best ice cream places I’ve ever tried! Everything is locally made, and the owner makes the ice cream himself. The flavours are incredibly rich, fresh, and so unique compared to regular ice cream shops.

My absolute favourite is the Biscoff and Golden Oreo. SO good!! 🤤 But they have tons of different and creative flavours, so there’s always something new to try.

The owners are also amazing and kind -
super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they make. You can tell a lot of care goes into every flavour.

If you love ice cream, this place is a MUST TRY. 🍦❤ I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I’ve always wanted to try Guilty Pleasurez Dezzert Cafe, but with work, I always seemed to be nearby around the time they were closing. I finally managed to make it in one day, and it was definitely worth the wait!

There are so many options to choose from, and honestly, everything we tried tasted amazing. The ice cream in particular was really good. It was a soft serve style, but noticeably creamier and richer than your typical McDonald’s or Dairy Queen ice cream.

Overall, I was really impressed and can definitely see myself coming back to try some of the other desserts. If you’re in the area and have been thinking about stopping in, definitely give them a try. Well worth the visit!“

“OMG!!! It took me a long time to get here (I live in Oak Ridges) but BOY was I glad I did! I’m Italian so my standards for cannoli are pretty high. To date, other than in Italy itself, these were BY FAR the best cannoli I’ve ever tasted. My daughter, who is as picky as they come, fell in love with the lemon flavor with the chocolate lined shell. My wife, who is Taiwanese and who isn’t really a fan of cannoli, thoroughly enjoyed the pistachio, lemon and gingerbread flavors. Yes, she ate more than me. Lol. I would recommend Holy Cannoli to anyone, Italian or otherwise. If you have a discerning palette and are willing to try something new, or if you think you’ve had very good cannoli before, TAKE THE DRIVE! You won’t be disappointed.“

“Iconic place to get beavertails which are famous here in Canada. If you were to try one get the classic or for the sweet tooth the cheesecake. I'll be honest. It's nothing special. “We almost left when we first arrived because it looked really busy, but thankfully a table opened up within just a few minutes.

It was our very first time trying bingsu, and we were a little worried that the shaved ice would be bland or just taste like snow. We were pleasantly surprised! The flavor, sweetness, and texture were perfectly balanced, and we enjoyed every bite until the very end.

If it’s your first time trying bingsu, I’d describe it as a super light, fluffy ice cream with a unique melt-in-your-mouth texture. If you enjoy cold desserts, there’s a good chance you’ll love it too.

“Easily the best snowflake shaved ice in Toronto. The texture is incredibly soft, light and creamy, and it melts beautifully without becoming watery. Both the mango and strawberry flavours were excellent — fresh, generous with the toppings. The ice cream on top makes it even better, and the whole dessert feels really well balanced.

You can tell they care about the quality and presentation. It is refreshing, satisfying, and honestly one of the best desserts I have had in the city. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for proper Asian shaved ice in Toronto. Five stars without hesitation.“

“I’ve had pastries and food from here a number of times, both dining in and taking things away, and I’ve always had an excellent experience.

I recently ordered some petite cakes for a friend’s birthday through Uber Eats, and unfortunately, I probably wouldn’t order delivery from here again. The pastries ended up sitting in a car for almost two hours before they reached us, and we quickly realized that delivery probably isn’t the best way to enjoy their treats.

If you’re in the area and able to pop by, I would definitely recommend sitting down or grabbing something to take away. You will love their petite cakes. My favourite is the Marie Antoinette cake, especially with those adorable little macarons on top. Definitely give that one a try!“
