“OMG!!! It took me a long time to get here (I live in Oak Ridges) but BOY was I glad I did! I’m Italian so my standards for cannoli are pretty high. To date, other than in Italy itself, these were BY FAR the best cannoli I’ve ever tasted. My daughter, who is as picky as they come, fell in love with the lemon flavor with the chocolate lined shell. My wife, who is Taiwanese and who isn’t really a fan of cannoli, thoroughly enjoyed the pistachio, lemon and gingerbread flavors. Yes, she ate more than me. Lol. I would recommend Holy Cannoli to anyone, Italian or otherwise. If you have a discerning palette and are willing to try something new, or if you think you’ve had very good cannoli before, TAKE THE DRIVE! You won’t be disappointed.“

“Stopped by D Spot Dessert Café for dessert recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience.

We ordered the milk cake, which I was really looking forward to, but it didn’t quite hit the spot. It had a noticeable rose-like flavor that overpowered the classic, traditional taste I was expecting. If you’re someone who enjoys floral notes, you might appreciate it, but for me, it took away from that rich, milky sweetness that makes milk cake so good.

On the brighter side, the brownie sushi crepes were actually really good. The brownie was dense and fudgy, and the melted Belgian chocolate added that indulgent, smooth finish. Definitely the highlight of the visit and something I’d order again.

Service-wise, it felt a little underwhelming. Our server hardly spoke to us and didn’t seem very engaged or interested, which unfortunately brought down the overall experience. When you’re going out for dessert, especially somewhere known for indulgent treats, the vibe and service really matter.

Overall, some hits and some misses. The brownie sushi saved the night, but between the milk cake and the service, it wasn’t as memorable as I’d hoped.“

She has a very large variety of sweet goods (ie canolis, cupcakes, pastries, brownies, cookies, cakes, fresh dubai chocolate, homemade ice cream), not to mention a wide selection of lattes. We had the biscoff and sweet & salty brownie ice cream. Samples of macaroons and date squares were given. Delicious 😋. If you're in the area of highway 7 and Marycroft, this place will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. Vegan options also available.“

“I am not exaggerating - these are superior to loukoumades on the Danforth these days. I simply cannot control myself and end up buying the the 30-pack every time. I go half salted caramel and half raspberry cheesecake, but there's something for everyone. Oh and summer before last they offered key lime soft serve (not pictured) and it was really delicious.“

Kellen is the most amazing baker and she’s always so attentive of details and knowing what’s in trend and making everything personalized and taste amazing. She goes beyond and above by taking the time to make sure every detail in the order is taken down. When it is ready it is made to perfection from simply Amy colour or flavour you want. I’m always trying new flavours and so far is the strawberry champagne macrons that she has invented you can’t go wrong with an order of them. “I recently had the Oreo and Funnel Cake Chocolate Fudge Milkshake, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were rich and perfectly blended – definitely one of the best milkshakes I’ve had. It was prepared by someone named Shubiika (I’m not sure of the exact spelling), but she did an incredible job. Not only was the milkshake delicious, but her service was also excellent. She was very polite and friendly while taking the order, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend both the drink and the service!“

“Came for dessert last Saturday night. We drove here all the way from Mississauga for our favorite drink, the frozen hot chocolate. Also ordered the Dulce de Leche Banana crepe. “I'm astound to see such a huge sweet shop in Missisauga! They have a varieties of sub-contient sweets to offer. In our trip we spent about $300 Canadian dollars to purchase the sweets. The shop is located at a convenient marketplace, the staff are friendly and quick to respond. They've extended the shop outside to meet the needs of customers those who were celebrating their religious festival during this time. They make all fresh inside the shop barely any waiting time for the orders to be ready. We enjoyed each and every bites of their sweets :-)“

“I was craving a red velvet cookie and luckily Insomnia had some. The reviews here are very mixed but I would say the service was quick and friendly when we came. The cookies are actually delicious, I was even saying they were better than another cookie shop we usually go to. The red velvet was exactly how I expected it to taste and would come back to get some more. The “premium” cookies like skor and smores are a bit more in price but it makes sense when you see the size you get. Overall, I would order here again for cookies and next time I’ll give the ice cream sandwich a try.“
