“Absolutely loved this place! The display case is filled with so many beautiful and delicious-looking desserts, from gorgeous strawberry cakes to delicate mille-crepe rolls. We tried a couple of items and they were perfect—not too sweet, incredibly light, and super fresh. They also have a great selection of flavored lattes (the Pistachio and Matcha options are amazing). The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the overall vibe is cozy and cute. Definitely my new go-to spot for desserts! Will be back soon!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this dessert. I ordered an ube option at the time and the flavours were great; it wasn’t sickeningly sweet. The price is great for the large portion and it tastes pretty fresh. Ample seating however, I felt like I was bothering the staff when I had originally asked about my dietary restrictions, so that was a downside. The textures are different than what I was used to, but a great choice to try something new!“

“One of the few dessert places around GTA. The dessert food was quite good. I just wish they had the Stewed Egg White with Milk in a cold version. Just an FYI for payment method, it's Cash or Debit. Visa or Mastercard there is an additional charge (I think at the time of this review is 2.5%). Lastly, the place also do Take Out and delivery.“

“Tastes good but the girl serving did not show up to the counter for 5minutes although she knew I was waiting. She did not apologize and just generally.. flat expression and does not even say thank you or anything. I said thank you when she handed us the cake, i got no reply or a slight smile. I know there is another person who is very kind but this one girl with bangs and smaller eyes... really awful interaction“

“At the st. Catharine’s location at the Pen Center. I’m here with my daughter. Had the wings and fries and the dessert Divide and conquer Belgian Waffle! The service is amazing but it’s a large place so we did approach the counter right away. It’s beautiful and clean. So many delicious things on the menu to choose! I highly recommend it!“

“We almost left when we first arrived because it looked really busy, but thankfully a table opened up within just a few minutes.

It was our very first time trying bingsu, and we were a little worried that the shaved ice would be bland or just taste like snow. We were pleasantly surprised! The flavor, sweetness, and texture were perfectly balanced, and we enjoyed every bite until the very end.

If it’s your first time trying bingsu, I’d describe it as a super light, fluffy ice cream with a unique melt-in-your-mouth texture. If you enjoy cold desserts, there’s a good chance you’ll love it too.

We’ll definitely be coming back to try more flavors. Highly recommended!“

“A true hidden gem for Chinese desserts. Takeout spot but everything is fresh and made in house.

The ginger milk pudding and the steamed egg pudding were exceptional. The puddings itself were soft and silky. Very delicate.

The black sesame was a nice contrast to the puddings. Very strong sesame flavour and had such a nice shine to it. Not grainy and very velvety and smooth.

Service was great. I am sure you can probably speak English as the menu is bilingual with English and Chinese but speaking canto or mandarin may help better. I have no doubt they will try their best to converse though. Like that if you already know you’re asking for the steamed puddings, they state outright that it will take 15 mins as opposed to waiting and finding out.

Parking is in abundance as the centre is huge. Meal times, the resto side can be busy and during the day the supermarket side is quite full. But spots will be available if you’re willing to park a little further out.

“Incredibly kind and hospitable owner! It's a hidden gem inside a sports facility with drinks and desserts that are undeniably amazing!

If you want any pictures printed onto drinks then this is the place to go! The colour comes out so vibrantly! The Sakura flavoured bubble tea with rich and creamy foam on top was a stand out!

We absolutely loved the Lychee infused Swiss roll cake with fresh strawberries and edible flowers ❤. It's nothing like we had before! It's so fluffy and moist.

They also had whimsical 3D foam latte art and many flavours of cookies and mochi! If you want custom cakes, I highly recommend ordering with Sugar Rain Cafe.

First of all: Been here twice and don't know why some reviewers gave 1 star for rude behavior, the workers are so lovely, helpful and very accommodating. The owner made my oreo cheesecake bingsu and it was delicious

Second: Very cute and comfortable area with various types of seating.

Finally: I had oreo cheesecake bingsu and the toppings wrre delicious (cheesecake bites, crumbs and oreo pieces) alsp I added extra toppings: condensed milk (+$1) and extra layer of oreo crumbs (+$1). I asked if they can add the condensed milk into the frozen shavings amd it turned out to be amazing, even better than the oreo bingsu from snowday bingsu imo.

Highly recommend: Oreo Cheesecake and ask to add condensed milk with ice shavings.“

They have their customers' best interest at heart and strive to satisfy them. Their treats are amazing in taste along with presentation.They sponsored my kids school Fun Fair back in June (See pics) and also catered the grade 8 graduation with their yummy treats, free of charge as a way to give back to their community. “I had delivery twice and also ate there. Very clean, modern space with an European flair. I had normal food delivered and then twice dessert. Raspberry crepe with white Belgian chocolate drizzled and vanilla ice cream on the side. I really, really loved it. I am recommending it both on Fadebook and already did on Google. Try it, you won't be disappointed! 5 well deserved stars.“

“Excellent. Had the pork burger and loved it. Western food overpowers with condiments, this was really good. Followed it up with a Matcha bun, loved that too. They do run out of product throughout the day though so get there early if you want something specific. Definitely recommend“

“I ordered the Yoglo Signature Orginal Yogurt fruit mix (1kg) via uber. It was soo soooo good. Trust me it was worth it. It was super good, tasty and was more than enough for 2 people. It am not a fan of Yogurt, but trust me this made me a fan. The quality and freshness of the fruits was notable.“

“Love sugar marmalade it’s a nice place to get lunch with friends.

Their food is pretty good! I can’t speak for many things but so far i have tried their shaved ice in 2 flavours matcha and mango. Both were great but if you get the matcha one i would say to get a different flavour ice cream on top since the matcha one is a little grainy.

My favourite thing from them is the backed rices, especially the Japanese curry one it is absolutely delicious and can be eaten with 2 people as a light lunch.

I had their lemonade also maybe a year ago it was fine I don’t remember it being anything special though.

Service wise it’s pretty good. There’s a tall guy who is very nice and immediately brang us the bill to pay.

The inside is ok nothing special again but nice and cozy.

“I recently visited Sugar Marmalade and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Right off the bat, the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting and it’s the perfect spot to hang out and satisfy your sweet tooth. The service was also top-notch as the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out quickly.

The food is absolutely delicious, but their shaved ice bowls are the real star of the show! We ordered two different ones, and they completely blew us away. The first was a gorgeous strawberry shaved ice and it was incredibly light and refreshing! The second bowl was an absolute dream for bubble tea lovers. The textures and flavors were spot on.“

“My girlies and I randomly discovered this place after our spa visit near the region. And it didn’t disappoint. From aesthetic to food, waffles to coffee..everything was so good. Their cloud dessert and spicy noddles were absolutely delish. The pairing of cake with oolong…yum!“
