Hattendo 八天堂 Reviews
Excellent. Had the pork burger and loved it. Western food overpowers with condiments, this was really good. Followed it up with a Matcha bun, loved that too. They do run out of product throughout the day though so get there early if you want something specific. Definitely recommend
The Custard Cream Bun is my absolute favorite! I think it’s the classic flavor, and it’s the one I always come back to.

They are famous for their cream bun and it is imported from Japan. I ordered a matcha latte and a Tokyo banana cream bun and this is absolutely delicious, especially during a summer time with a cold bun. Their bread is made of Japanese flour so I bought one, too. This is a small shop and the interior is nicely decorated with a lot of Japanese styled elements with a high table with 2 seatings.

Hattendo 八天堂 offers delicious and affordable cream buns with traditional and creative flavors, including the popular red bean and Matcha cream buns. The soft bread and cold, creamy fillings make for an addictive treat. Many visitors praise the great service, with staff being efficient and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. Customers often compare the buns to other treats like pudding and caramel pudding, which are beautifully presented and very tasty. Some reviews mention the taro mochi cream bun, which is made with real taro, and others highlight the hojicha pudding as a must-try for fans of hojicha. Although prices are around $4+ per bun, the high quality and variety make Hattendo a popular spot for Japanese-style baked goods and desserts.
