“small shop in the underground parking garage in the plaza. when you walk in it’s quite small and crowded but it is quite empty. there’s a showcase of cake bentos and regular cakes you could purchase. anything else you’d like would need to be purchased online. i had came in after seeing tiktoks about their place, there was no mango when i came in but i had asked the lady if she has any and she told me to wait 5 kinds while she made me won. it was a wonderful gesture

this mango purple rice cake bento costed me $16, if you pay in cash no tax. the cake is perfectly soft and moist, the cream is not too sweet and the mangos are very sweet as well. the purple sticky rice adds a nice texture to it as well. everything works well together and i like that the only sweetness there really is, is the mangos so for people who don’t like sweet cakes this is perfect

“This is our first time trying Oh Cake and we were truly blown away by how delicious the cake was. We ordered the cake for our special wedding day and it came beautifully done. The shop was also super communicative on the day of the order to double check on everything. The cake was fresh, delicious and not too sweet!“

“Baker Duck has a great selection of unique, well-presented, and dense buns, but the overall experience is dragged down by service and hygiene issues.

The store gets busy on weekends, and the staff needs to organize the lines better to speed up checkout. A major concern is the lack of wax paper for the selection trays, which poses a serious cross-contamination risk for anyone with food allergies. The used tongs are also a concern.

While I appreciate that they constantly replenish low stock from the back, the employees are often curt and snippy. It is also dangerous and rude when they carry large, hot trays directly over customers' heads instead of waiting for them to move.

The taste and quality of the food are the only reasons to visit.“

“This has been my go-to cake place for years and they do beautiful cakes. They are not too sweet and have nice new flavours and seasonal cakes that we love. For some reason I thought I had already reviewed Yuzu no Ki but seems that I didn’t, or I would have saved the pictures I took of the cakes I bought over the years. Their Christmas cakes are super cute every year. Service is good also. They are real Japanese and inside J-Town. Highly recommended.“

I am sometimes able to locate it in health food stores, but not reliably, so I am very pleased to know I can visit the bakery. Their tomato and beef rice, Guilin rice noodle, beef briskets, baked pork chop/ chicken fillet with rice in tomato sauce, egg tarts are yummy. The best satay beef with flat rice noodle in soup I’ve ever had. Very affordable. Generous portion. Friendly staff. Even in busy hours when the small place is jam packed with customers waiting for table or takeout, the staff are always wearing a smile. It’s impressive. I do not really enjoy their HK styled milk tea. But it’s a matter of personal preference.“

“Finally came here after saving this spot on my list for over a year. They got Jamaican patties (beef - mild/spicy, vegetarian, and chicken) and coco bread to purchase in bulk. I do believe I saw a sign for a sample if you ask kindly, but I don't remember clearly. $22 for a dozen, $18 for patties with slight imperfections - CASH ONLY.

“I ordered a birthday cake here the first time. I expected the writings will be placed on top of the retangular cake. There are lots of empty spaces... why they put the writing on a very tiny piece of chocolate and put it at the side of the bottom. It was hardly to see what was in the writing. For what occasion and for who! Quite disappointed! And they charged me a price of $17 more according to their listed price of $65 for a 8"x12" cake. Plus an extra of $20 for the pair of baby shoes (a plastic toy) for decoration. I also tried their bread, also find the textures are hard to chew... I wont return again.“

“It is a very well known bakery shop, the most famous item is their egg tarts 😋, it contains much more egg custard than the tarts from other bakery shops, the size of tart is pretty larger, I like the best is it doesn't taste too sweet. The bakery shop is always my flavors place for tarts. Besides the tarts, cakes, buns, HK style cup cake，and they serve drinks as well. Highly recommended.

I visited them again yesterday and found some new items which are the traditional pastries. They looked very cute and each of them has a different flavor. I tried the rose flavoured one, it has a tiny bit taste of rose, it wasn't too strong but was good enough to stand out it's taste.“

Wife cake was perfect texture and sweetness. Filling had winter melon pieces which added a nice contrast in texture to the chewy filling. Just by looking at the cakes in the store, I knew they would be very good quality. My eyes did not lie. These wife cakes were as good as Kam Do in Vancouver!“
