“I had such a great experience at this Tim Hortons location. A few days ago, I stopped by early in the morning before an important appointment. I was already having a stressful day, and when I got to the counter, I realized I had accidentally left my wallet in the car. I apologized and stepped aside, but one of the employees was extremely patient and told me not to worry while I went back to get it.

When I returned, my order was already prepared and waiting for me. The staff were smiling, friendly, and made the whole situation feel much less embarrassing. My coffee was fresh, my food was made perfectly, and the service was surprisingly fast even though the store was busy.

“Baker Duck has a great selection of unique, well-presented, and dense buns, but the overall experience is dragged down by service and hygiene issues.

The store gets busy on weekends, and the staff needs to organize the lines better to speed up checkout. A major concern is the lack of wax paper for the selection trays, which poses a serious cross-contamination risk for anyone with food allergies. The used tongs are also a concern.

While I appreciate that they constantly replenish low stock from the back, the employees are often curt and snippy. It is also dangerous and rude when they carry large, hot trays directly over customers' heads instead of waiting for them to move.

“Always love trying asian bakeries and just happened upon this place.

Didn’t expect much, but the egg tarts were top tier. I liked how soft the custard was but still keeping its shape. Crust was nice and flaky and buttery too.

I also got some time of salted egg bun which was a nice little find too. It was so good with what I believe is either a green tea or matcha crust.

Service was all about quickness and efficiency which they proved. A steady lineup and with what little seats available, they were full. They also second as an hk cafe and just looking at the food they’re bringing out, I know I’m gonna have to come back. The beef fried rice noodle looked absolutely delicious.

Parking was easy as many of the businesses in this plaza are quick stops other than the doctors clinic and couple food spots. But ample parking to fit everything.

“A great spot for dessert option. Quick pick up if you need some last minute treat ideas. The cheese tarts here is hit or miss. But the creme brulee and the tiramisu flavour is probably my favourite.
Service was quick, and they always have someone working in the back to stock up the inventory.

The flavours and quality was like from a master chef and food delivery was consistent. Shirley genuinely cares about her customers through the meals her team prepares. I do believe I saw a sign for a sample if you ask kindly, but I don't remember clearly. $22 for a dozen, $18 for patties with slight imperfections - CASH ONLY.

Sure the bakery is very dated looking but they offer very affordable cheap buns that taste good!

The older lady was the cashier and she was very nice and welcoming. My 6 buns came up to $8.50 (bring cash)

Happy to support older businesses as long as the food is good, who cares about the interior imo.“
