“My wife and I had the place to ourselves for an early afternoon flight of some quality beer. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and I believe brewery Jeff. He was busy, but made the time to welcome us and speak with us at length. As well Cara was was wonderful. She looked after our service and was very personable and had great knowledge of what they had to offer. The space is great, with lots of events to attend, cool pieces of refurbished furniture and loads of creative art pieces. Great beer! But the great people make it even better!

We had the most wonderful anniversary dinner at Stakeout, and this place absolutely deserves all the praise. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel special—and they went above and beyond by surprising us with a complimentary drink to celebrate the occasion.

The standout of the evening was undoubtedly the ribeye steak. Cooked to absolute perfection with a beautiful crust and tender, juicy center, it was accompanied by an incredibly rich and creamy brown sauce that elevated every bite. The presentation alone was stunning—this is clearly a kitchen that cares about both flavor and artistry.
Our sides were equally impressive. The lobster mac and cheese was decadent and indulgent—golden, creamy, and loaded with generous pieces of lobster. It’s comfort food elevated to fine dining. We also enjoyed fresh green beans and roasted beetroot paired with silky mashed potatoes that rounded out the meal beautifully.

What really sealed the deal were the fresh oysters we started with—a perfect appetizer that set the tone for the evening.

Beyond the exceptional food, the staff’s attentiveness and genuine warmth made the whole experience memorable. They remembered it was our anniversary and treated us like valued guests rather than just another table.

“I had the pleasure of enjoying China Garden’s food at a wedding, and I was blown away. The roast pork was absolutely outstanding — perfectly seasoned, tender, and incredibly flavorful. It was one of the dishes everyone kept going back for and it disappeared quickly!

Other standout favourites included the General Tao Chicken, Singapore Noodles, Honey Garlic Ribs and Beef with Broccoli. Everything they make is crafted with care, great seasoning, and authentic flavour.

Whether for dine-in, takeout, or catering a special event, China Garden is truly a gem. Highly recommend!”

“My mom is a butter tart fanatic. I've never met somebody who likes butter tarts as much as she does, that being said, she only likes GOOD butter tarts. The ones with the super thick crust or minimal raisins are not a pass in her books. Yesterday my dad found out about Beverly's Bakers online, then excitedly told me we were going to get my mom some butter tarts. Although it's a little hidden, Beverley's Bakers had such friendly service and we got our butter tarts fresh out of the oven. When the butter tart queen came home from work, she was thrilled. My mom said they were the best butter tarts ever, runny, lots of raisins, had the homemade taste and best of all they're such a great value! We will definitely be back!”

“I have visited many times (at least 5 times) to this Pizza Pizza located in Stouffville. The quality has elevated tremendously under the new management. The toppings are fresh and generously placed. The chicken topping tastes great, and the vegetables are fresh and crunchy. We don’t go to any other pizza places ever since we have tried here.”

“There was an issue with my sub tonight whoever made my original sub needs to get canned however, I had to come back after I had ordered my sub online because that person who made my sub did a terrible job and did not know how to follow instructions and made the customer very upset However after coming back to the store, talking to the manager on the phone and trying to explain and talking calmly and nicely with the nighttime staff who was absolutely wonderful Vivek - He made sure to get my point across to the manager about how upset I was with the sub condition and how it was not made correctly. He then spoke to the manager and explained the situation and worked hand-in-hand with me to ensure that I got a proper sub made ! Vivek Has a wonderful heart on him and needs a raise for dealing with Karen’s like myself ! I don’t like putting my Karen face on, However, if the person who worked on the original sub would have made it right - this would not be an issue

Value & Pricing The main drawback lately is the cost. Even when using coupons, the prices feel like they are becoming increasingly expensive for what is being offered. While the quality is consistent, the value proposition isn't as strong as it used to be.”
