We went to the area to walk our dog in the woods close by. We each had the chicken plate for one. The egg rolls and chicken fried rice were the best I have ever eaten. We enjoyed the lemon chicken and stir fried vegetables too. The very personable owner was on site too. Very satisfied with the extra. Will definitely return!Thanks!
Hanson's offers legit pizza along with Canadian Chinese food that doesn't disappoint. They definitely confound the expectations and the usual tropes of a institution like this.First the pizza. If you enjoy ultra thin crust pizza, then Hanson's rendition will satisfy your craving. The undercarriage is well cooked and offers a no flop pizza Slice. Toppings and cheese taste fresh. Nice restaurant, very attentive staff. The Chinese food was OK. Not amazing, but not terrible. It would have been better if the sauce was served on the chicken, rather than on the side.The pizza was also good, but the crust, while thin (which is nice), was quite tough. The amount of toppings on the personal pizza was good.
