“They make a really good burger! Fries are great too. Nice and crispy! The owners are super friendly and will stack your burger just how you like it. I asked for just 7 fries and they had no problem doing that unlike other places where if there isn't a button for that item, they won't make it.
Prices are reasonable for the portion size. And once you taste their food, you won't care what it costs.
This was my 3rd Friday in a row. See ya next week!”

“My wife, our daughter, and I stopped by The Lloyd House Social after a day trip from Port Perry to Mount Albert, and we’re so glad we did!

The ambience is truly one of a kind: Very warm, welcoming, and cozy without feeling too formal. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.

The food was diverse, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. There was something for everyone, and we genuinely enjoyed every part of our visit.

It was the perfect place to wind down after a day out with the family. We had a great time and would definitely come back! Highly recommended. ❤”

“A simple take out spot but the owner knows what he’s doing and concentrates on what he’s great at, which is making the Best pizza I’ve had in Newmarket since I’ve lived here. That is saying a LOT. I hope he doesn’t raise his prices because it’s not a cheap pizzeria but the motto is “you get what you pay for.”
It’s also not unreasonably priced.

“The name is Cambodian Noodle King but when I entered the restaurant I saw two white guys working(no offense). I thought, oh crap this aint no Cambodians. After the noodles came, my perspectives changed right away. The noodle soup is a bit sweet, very savoury, very nutty and very fragrant. LOTS of veggies(Chinese broccoli) they put in there. Noodle Texture is not as dense and slurpy , but the flavour makes up for it. 100% will come back for more.”

“I live an hour away, however, my daughter lives in Newmarket. I first fell in love with Hamish's when I lived in Scarborough so visited their Pharmacy & St. Clair often. I now live far away from T. & was so happy to see them in Newmarket. Visiting my daughter tomorrow & treating us to fish, chips, gravy & mushy peas for lunch. “This place is absolutely cozy and wonderful. The food is cheap but quality is above and beyond what you could expect. Very cozy familiar atmosphere where you can talk with your love ones over some delicious food and have a wonderful time here. Staff are so friendly and amazing. Food came quite fast and the noodle soups are absolutely so fresh you can litterally smell the freshness when it's brought out. I also had some delicious garlic wings and the pork tender mo and I can't be more excited to eat here again. They also have take out containers so no food goes to waste. 10/10 will definitely come again”

“Newmarket location - Don't want to cook? Do yourself a favour and try this place. We ate there yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised. Huge portions, one Swarma feeds two or one will be really full :) I may sneak out and have dinner there one night, just me and eat a whole Swarma to myself. Lots of ingredients, care taken to make the food, and lots of in-house-made ingredients. Bread is awesome. Not your normal pita bread, this stuff is fire. The staff were pleasant and smiling. So nice to see people serving you that don't look like they are being held hostage. Support these local places, you won't be disappointed.”
