I live an hour away, however, my daughter lives in Newmarket. I first fell in love with Hamish's when I lived in Scarborough so visited their Pharmacy & St. Clair often. I now live far away from T. & was so happy to see them in Newmarket. Visiting my daughter tomorrow & treating us to fish, chips, gravy & mushy peas for lunch. Rare treat but when I want it, I get it!
Fish is light and crispy and the fries are good too. Friendly outgoing staff and pleasant,all around good dining experience. Definitely recommend for great fish and chips.
Food is good and the place is traditional.
