Vegetarian options: It is so hard to figure ND a place with a good vegetarian burger, the here is actually my favourite and now they have a second one called a masala it's so nice to actually find a place that has options for me and they're actually good quality“

“This was our first time here. Top marks for young staff last night ( Saturday September 26) preparing my gluten free burger and fries. They did it correctly and I did not get glutened (I have celiac disease so this is vitally important to my health).
What I will say is that the bun was very greasy, and I think it's because they had to warm the gluten free bun on the burger griddle. If there is any other safe way to warm the gluten free bun, please look into it. I want to come back. I have very limited options locally for a gluten free burger and fries.

“Loved the Christmas decorations! Food and service good. Was there for lunch but the music was so loud we had to shout to be heard. Don’t mind music while eating but the volume was quite annoying. People across from us commented they did not enjoy the music or its volume. We were going to come to Jack’s with another couple for dinner but have changed our plans due to the noise level.“

“I live an hour away, however, my daughter lives in Newmarket. I first fell in love with Hamish's when I lived in Scarborough so visited their Pharmacy & St. Clair often. I now live far away from T. & was so happy to see them in Newmarket. Visiting my daughter tomorrow & treating us to fish, chips, gravy & mushy peas for lunch. Rare treat but when I want it, I get it!“

“Today was our first time at any Meltwich, and we are so excited to return! We signed up for the loyalty program and each received a welcome mini-poutine. The poutine brought back fond memories of when I first had poutine long ago; it was the perfect comfort food. It had crispy fries and bold, flavourful gravy and cheese curds.

I was inspired to write a review based on Janvi's wonderful customer service. She taught me how to use the Meltwich loyalty program and order online, and every step of the way she was so patient, respectful and informative. As she walked me through it, I was thinking to myself how outstanding it was how she really took the time and with kindness and friendliness throughout! Janvi created such a positive, inviting environment, the social dynamic of the restaurant is a draw as well.

“We frequently go to the Davis Diner and the service and food has always been good. When we went there today we got a pleasant surprise. Their Easter Specials were advertised by the door and the “Roast Lamb” caught our attention and we decided to give it a try. The lamb was cooked perfectly; tender, moist and nicely seasoned. It was served with mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and garlic bread. The sauce that came with the lamb was also very good. This exceptional meal was reasonably priced at just under $20. Dinner for 2 with coffee and tea came to just over $50 with tax. Well done Davis Diner.“
