“The most delicious rice balls, I have ever eaten and I am a foodie and Japanese Canadian. The rice was cooked perfectly and the filling was delicious and plentiful. A delicious lunch. I think I will pick up a few more for my trip today. The owner was super nice and encouraged me to stay and work on my laptop for a few hours.“

Whenever we visit this shop, not only are the beautiful sweets in the display case like treasures, but the warm service from the staff makes both my children and me feel very happy.

It was my son's first birthday in Canada.

“I've been here so many times and only now do I think to write a review :) For hot drinks, the matcha latte is terrific, and for cold, the mango slushy and melon matcha tea are repeat favourites. The little tarts are of course the star of the show, so delicious. I find myself ordering the strawberry daifuku, mango and peach tarts; my SO really misses the chestnut tart now that it's gone. And, those really big cheese tarts have been great when we are having company over.
Just a few tables and chairs, a quiet spot for a chat and very friendly owners.“

“Hannah is an absolute gem. She is always incredibly kind, well-spoken, helpful, and somehow manages to brighten my morning before the caffeine has even had a chance to do its job.

She remembers people, makes you feel genuinely welcome, and brings such a positive energy every time I come in. Starbucks may make the coffee, but Hannah is doing most of the heavy lifting on the morning happiness.

“I cannot believe the transformation! I used to avoid the croissants here—they were far away from French croissants I’m familiar with. But WOW, the new ones from Le-Beau are total game-changer. Flaky, buttery, and perfectly golden, each bite tastes like it was made by a master baker. Every croissant is next-level indulgent. Honestly, I’m shocked this is the same place! If you’re in Upper Canada Mall and even think about skipping the croissants, don’t. Go. Just go. Try almond , espresso croissants or the cookies. Absolute 10/10, they’ve officially earned a permanent spot in my snack rotation.

“I went yesterday looking for this mug. The lovely cashier offered to look in the back for me. It was on a high shelf & had to get some help getting it. She also helped me with a few other items. The reason why this store is getting 4 starts and not 5 is mainly bc my drink was pretty underfilled. For paying almost $8 for my matcha, their was at least an inch more of matcha they could've filled my cup with.

The matcha was really good so I will not complain about the flavor whatsoever, but just something this store should keep in mind is filling their cups to the top because customers want to get their money's worth.“

“The Alley is definitely one of the best places for bubble tea. The drinks are always fresh, the ingredients taste high quality, and the presentation is beautiful. I tried their signature milk tea with tapioca, and it was perfectly balanced—not too sweet and full of flavor.

“THIS IS IT! This tea shop is what I've been looking for for years! Their ice tea is so fruity and fresh; The Macha is the best I've tasted. Moreover, I have to mention their tapioca. I'm a big fan of tapioca. Their tapioca is so smooth, soft and chewy, like dancing in my mouth, absolutely the best quality in town. This is the place I'll come again and again, with friends or alone. 🤘“
