“this cafe is a hidden (but not really b/c there was a line up of people when we went) gem of richmond hill! we had the açai bowls and were able to customize them to our liking, with a variety of options to choose from! we definitely preferred the açai base over the matcha base BUT the matcha chia pudding was a game changer ?they also don’t charge extra for milk alternatives which is pretty much RARE in cafes ? so i will definitely be back to try their drinks!“
“Fantastic coffee shop with solid brunch options! Small menu but none falls behind. Ordered 2 kinds of bennies and a side of scrambled eggs. Nothing fancy but ingredients were fresh and seasoned very well. Well portioned for the price but wish they gave more hollandaise sauce. Barely tasted the sauce. Don't get me wrong here, price is very kind! Caramelized onions on the bennies were excellent and sorta made up for the lack of sauce.Homebrew coffee was on point. Wouldn't mind just walking in here to grab a coffee if it wasn't so busy. And if I lived in the area lolParking is difficult. Plaza is very small.I would come back here again.“
“A very good place to have a cup of tea or coffee with family and friends. Or even have some lunch! The staff are very friendly and responsive.Vegetarian options: Soup , salads are availableParking: In front of the bakeryKid-friendliness: Kids love this bakery's cookies! So yummy!“
“Great place to get work done or socialize, we love going there with our toddler to say hello to uncle Mahmoud and the very friendly staff. They are kind and positive and the great baked good are of course attractive!Dietary restrictions: They have a great gluten free chocolate cheesecakeKid-friendliness: It's calm with a nice outdoor space as well“
“This is my first time here. Arrive at 1300 and there were 12 tables ahead so you may want to come earlier to wait for a table. Food is good and staff is super nice! I’m not a big fan of egg but my gf said the egg Benedict were nice so I think you guys might have a try of it.“
“We were a party of 5 and was seated promptly. We got there around 11ish. We had the chicken and waffles, carbonara pasta, french toast and the duck benny.Chicken and waffles was one of my favorite dishes. Only thing I would change is like have a boneless chicken. Eating a drunkstick was enh. But the seasoning was good and the sauces were good too.French toast was my.least fav because it had like a lot of crust and the syrup was different. Kind of a punch but I think I would've prefered the regular syrup instead.Carbonara was good.Duck benny was also good. I did like the salad that came with the dishes.“
“Indulging in the one-bear mousse cake and grape cakes was a delightful experience. The bear mousse cake stole the show with its rich, velvety texture and a perfect balance of sweetness. Each bite revealed layers of chocolatey goodness, making it a true decadent treat. The grape cakes, on the other hand, offered a refreshing contrast, combining the natural sweetness of grapes with a moist and light cake. Together, they created a harmonious dessert duo that left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for those seeking a delightful blend of flavors and textures.“
“I went to Gong Cha for the first time, and let me tell you, it won't be my last! Amazing vibe, wonderful and caring staff, and strawberry milk tea tasted so good!!!I recommend Gong Cha to anyone in search of a refreshing beverage and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Parking: Behind the building“
“Been visiting covernotes for nearly a decade now, and always have a good experience. The charm, beverages, and combination coffee shop and bookstore is a unique concept but should be a no-brainer. Happy to have this in Richmond Hill. Drinks are average priced but are hand crafted with quality, which means they take a bit longer than average to be ready for pickup. They give you these buzzers which vibrate once your order is ready (that's clearly a new thing which they didn't have at my last visit).Table we sat at was a high table near their exit door. Table was quite wobbly which made sitting high up with beverages a little precarious. I would recommend getting that table fixed (as well as the chair upholstery which was falling apart). One thing I have noticed, however, is this place is always cold - especially if you're sitting by the windows or exit door. I don't see them installing heaters or upgrading their insulation anytime soon, so make sure to wear comfy, warm clothing in the winter time while you're working or hanging out so you don't feel the chill.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp, although may be difficult without someone to push. Small entry doors.“
“Love the atmosphere, food & service. Very comfortable stay. Would recommend for brunch. Great that they take reservations but I was displeased that they didn’t pick up the phone when I tried calling in to reserve. End up having to wait when I got there. But that was ok as the seater greeter was apologetic & polite about it. We also only waited about 20 mins so all good.“
“Great place for a coffee, tea or freshly baked croissants, pastries and so much more. They have seasonal soft-serve + Ice cream. Both locations make fantastic cakes but the cafe location only makes ice cream cakes. ?My fav treats and a must try are their creme caramels, quiches, sandwiches and ice creams. Chill vibes inside should you choose to dine in (gets crowded & busy). I usually get a flat white or iced Americano to go. It can get busy at peak times with long lines but worth the wait. They are a little pricier than most patisseries but the quality is top notch. Great to take to go as it can get crowded if dining in. Worth almost visit every weekend ??“
“I had an amazing experience at this bakery in Richmond Hill, offering some of the best Hong Kong-style egg tarts in Toronto. The egg tarts were served piping hot and incredibly fresh, and the generous portion size was a pleasant surprise. The pastry was wonderfully crispy, and the filling struck the perfect balance of sweetness. What made the experience even better was the friendly owner, who always goes the extra mile. I appreciate that they're willing to reserve the tarts for me when I call ahead, saving me from any unnecessary wait, especially since they're baked every 20 minutes. Highly recommend this place!“
“Really enjoyed my afternoon tea experience here at My Cup Of Tea with my friends. I've been here a few times already; the food quality, presentation, and service were amazing every single time!We were amongst the first ones to try this NEW Valentine's menu ($43.99pp)! Such a cute 'Once Upon A Fairytale' Cinderella theme♡ It's so creative, and I love every bite of the savoury and sweets! That Lavender Earl Grey scone is still ? to die for, ever since they first opened the store??The perfect pot of tea to go with this afternoon tea set, imo, would definitely be the Lullaby (herbal tea). Super soothing and light with the camomile, peppermint, and other calming ingredients ^^ and it doesn't overpower the food!Highly recommended this place for your next Girl's Day Out, or special celebrations!Parking: More parking behind the shop“
“Reviewing based on my visit without tasting the coffee or purchasing beansPerson behind the counter is super intuitive knowing as soon as I was stepping up and just informed me that they don’t do drinks to the publicLoved that he could clue in. So I took a look around at the products offered. Lots of different roasts / blends and thhey also have some nice teas available for that tea lover. They also have some very nice presses for coffee making and a few to choose from from tooPlace is very welcoming and aesthetic. There’s a space adjacent to the retail space which looks like potentially some classes could go on there.Great job“
“Great service, great taste.Clean and open kitchen that you can see every thing clearly. I hope they don’t lose their taste when they grow more.I met a very sweet lady whose name is Asal. She is like honey as her name mentions in Farsi (Persian).Their tea menu is also amazing. No need to separate the cultures but Persians are better for tea than Turkish tea I guess. Their tea culture is also amazing.I drunk mint tea and the way they serve is so sweet. Felt like at home.Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: YesParking: Turn right on the corner (church)“
“Had to be in Richmond Hill for an appointments this morning, and decided to stop here and grab something to eat. It was great! Very friendly service from who I presume are the owners, and delicious food. Will return if I’m ever in the area!“
“This cafe at Vaughan Mills Mall is my go-to for a delightful coffee experience every time! The hazelnut latte and cappuccino never disappoint, with their delightful aroma. The complimentary chocolates are a pleasant treat – delicious and satisfying. Overall, it's a delightful spot for coffee lovers!“
“I like this Starbucks location but it is irritating that its located within loblaws. There used to be a starbucks stand alone within this plaza at the very north end of the strip of stores on bayview. I'm not sure why they moved to within a Loblaws but thats their choice.“
“This store is located inside the Hillcrest mall, which makes its own prons and cons. Friendly, energetic staff , order is ready within a few minutes, timely updates from the store. Very convenient option when you come for shopping and craving for some tasty treat to reward yourself after a shopping hunt.“
“cute Korean cafe with lots of seating - great option for studying/working or just hanging out! variety of espresso-based drinks served in double-walled cups, as well as more unique choices too. going to come back for their animal/rose gelato!“
