“First timer @ alchemy coffee, but definitely not the last. At this cozy breakfast and coffee, we had the matcha latte (can sub oat milk!), and a London Fog tea. As well as the (classic) salmon Benny, and the Chicken and Waffles were crispy and warm. “Calabria Unionville holds a special spot in my heart. The wait for its opening was absolutely worthwhile, and my clients are in love with the pastries. Yolanda and Sam create a welcoming atmosphere, and their Lasagna is undoubtedly my top choice. Even though I haven't visited Italy, the store's ambiance shows a deep connection to their origin. “I love this location, it’s in the heart of Unionville and has great atmosphere. Nice and cozy, makes it suitable for meetups or work. The store is clean and the staff are very energetic and friendly, especially early in the morning. They have a couple of tables inside and a few tables outside during summer and you can sit down and enjoy your coffee.“
“Got the smoked salmon croissant sandwich which was much better than I expected. It’s made up if smoked salmon, lettuce, tomato and cream cheese. It goes especially well with Tabasco so be sure to ask for that on the side! Cocoa Cappuccino was also quite good - on the sweeter end if that’s what you prefer. Staff were pretty friendly, vibes were good and the area was pretty clean! I love that they give you a piece of chocolate complimentary with every drink order. Only complaint would be that the items are pretty pricey for what they are, so be mindful of that. “Had mixed experience at first since we called in for a table of 4. They mentioned they couldn’t hold it since it’s first come, first serve. Got there in 8 mins since the call and the wait time was supposedly 25 mins.We ended up being seated after 10 mins and service during lunch was great. They were attentive and served food quickly.Food was tasty, my friend had their classic breakfast and it had a great portion. Torched salmon and creamy udon was also good. They were able to remove bacon off the creamy udon. They also have milk alternatives (soy, almond, oat and lactose free milk).The ube and rocher cold drinks were not the tastiest drinks we’ve tried, couldve had more flavour.Overall though, it was a good experience. Atmosphere is cozy and aesthetic. Limited seating.“
