“Fun, unique bubble tea spot - Comic Tea is a gem!

My kids are big fans of bubble tea and always love trying new places, so we were excited to come across Comic Tea at 2470 St. Clair Ave W. Omg their drinks are uniquely different and absolutely delicious! You won’t find your typical menu here, and that’s what makes it so fun.

The vibe in the store is awesome, we especially loved the featured art wall, which gives the space a cool, creative feel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the portions are generous. Bonus: the cups are really well-designed and super cute!

If you’re in the area or even just curious to try something new, Comic Tea is definitely worth a visit!“

“Came here for a mango smoothie with mango Popping boba pearls and didn't bring enough money for the pearls, so I settled for a mango smoothie instead. This angel of a lady a the front desk Secretly put boba pearls in my drink even though I only paid for the smoothie. Not sure what her name was, but I was in there at 3:55 on August 3rd, that lady single handedly bumped my rating to the farthest point imaginable.

Regarding the drink itself, it was amazing, and everything was on point. Gong cha never fails to disappoint, and I love it ! Definitely coming back again😻“

“It was my and my son’s first time and it was during lunch rush and we didn’t know what to order. As soon as we got up to the counter we were greeted with a smile. The staff was so patient and helpful, especially with my son. Food was delicious, and my son loved it so much and asked when we will be coming back. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Highly recommend this location. My party of 7 orders were made without errors and expeditiously delivered to us as we sat and wait. My husband wanted to try a peach fruit drink hot, it is usually served cold; the staff smilingly complied. That is now his favourite drink. Had a wonderful experience there with staff being friendly and seems to love their job.“

“I consider myself to be a pretty ‘regular’ customer, meaning I’m constantly at this location, at times every day ordering my usual beverage. The entire staff is pretty cool and really nice, however one person stands out and has always been exceptional to me: the employee Jaimeet. Absolute sweetheart that no matter what always always always not only gets the drink perfectly right, but deeply cares about customer service. His efforts and smiles have never gone unnoticed. I’ve never tried the other smoothie/juice spot in the mall because of him. I don’t know him well, but I can tell you that he’s been a delight each and every time I’ve come across him. I hope I’ll be able to continuously have my beverages made by him (every employee is absolutely lovely, so don’t get me wrong) but throughout the summer I’ll probably be getting a shake each and every day and it’d be awesome for them to be perfect as expected when it comes to Jaimeet whipping them up. “Went here to try the Dubai Chocolate Gelato, and it was really good! The only thing I noticed was that it was quite warm inside the store, so our gelato melted pretty quickly while we were eating 🫠🫠 Overall, I really enjoyed it. I just wish the place was a bit cooler inside, especially during the summer 😊“

“If you're craving a real fruit slush instead of the usual powdered drinks, Fruiteao is definitely worth trying! 🥭 I ordered their Mango Slush, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh it tasted. The mango itself was naturally sweet, juicy, and full of flavor, making every sip refreshing and satisfying. You can really tell it's made with real fruit, not just flavored powder.
It's the perfect drink to cool down on a warm day, and the sweetness was just right not overpowering. If you're around Village by the Grange Food Court, don't miss this hidden gem. I'll definitely be coming back to try their other fresh fruit drinks. Highly recommended!“

“Hm tried the drinks w the whipped cream (I remember jasmine tea, might be wrong tho, was from a while ago), it was alright, not much tea flavor to it 😅

“Tried Chapayom's new Thai Tea Slush series and I was seriously impressed! I had the Thai Milk Tea Frappe, Mango Sticky Rice Slush, and Pandan Coconut Slush, and each one had its own unique flavour.

The Thai Milk Tea Frappe was rich, creamy, and perfect for Thai tea lovers. The Mango Sticky Rice Slush tasted like the classic dessert in drink form — sweet, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavour. My personal favourite was the Pandan Coconut Slush, which had a smooth coconut taste with a fragrant pandan aroma that made it incredibly refreshing.

These drinks are perfect for summer and a fun twist from your usual bubble tea. If you're looking for something unique and refreshing, definitely give Chapayom's new slush series a try. Highly recommend!“

“Mr Sun is my go-to spot right now, me and my partner come here everytime we are craving some boba, but their service is horrible.

Their boba is god-tier, it's very chewy, perfectly sweetened, and 8/10 times is made extremely well, sometimes the boba is a bit too soft or chewy, probably since we go at night before they close. The coconut Jelly is really good, pineapple flavored and delicious.

The drinks are good, blackberry milk tea is absolutely amazing, earl grey milk tea also a must-try.

The other drinks are not it, either too sweet, or too bland. Hard to find good drinks in my opinion.

The customer service is horrible. They aren't very accommodating and generally are not nice, it's unfortunate that this is the only Mr Sun near us.“

“MeeTYou Cafe catered drinks for our event recently and they were amazing. The lemon tea was super refreshing. Staff were friendly and the process was smooth and organized. Definitely one of my favourite spots near campus for drinks. I’ll for sure be coming back!“

“This gem of a Cafe is located next door to my house which is lovely bonus. Tesco is an upscale Phillipino Cafe and serves top quality hit and cold beverages as well as sandwiches and crepes and other goodies . I assumed the man behind the counter was the owner, unlike most employees who work the counter in Eateries, Drew appears invested, in my experience there, he is friendly, clean and knowledgeable, always willing to help o customer out, with directions or bus schedules. Always an enjoyable experience. And the price? Not overly cheap. But for high quality food, exllent service , great location, and relaxation, I'm willing to pay a few dollars more. Not always but in this case that old saying holds true. You get what you pay for. So try it out this weekend

“I have dined here twice at their Bank Street location twice. The first time I visited, it was to enjoy one of their delicious ramens for $10 while helping them celebrate their 3rd anniversary. My second time visiting, I enjoyed their new and delicious Black TanTan Ramen and their black sesame seeds that you can crush and sprinkle into your bowl of ramen. 🍜 Also, don't be discouraged by the colour of this ramen's broth, because of its greyish colour. “Fresh Cup Bubble Tea & Cafe at Peanut Plaza is hands down one of my favorite boba spot in North York! The newly renovated space is super cozy and clean, making it a great place to study or hang out.

Their menu is awesome and their staffs are super friendly, Alisha was especially super great and professional in everything she does.

“Delicious budget friendly food, tried their everything Momo plate, fried rice, alu puri and mango lassi and was absolutely satisfied. Good for two people + leftovers.

Edit 2026: They changed the ingredients in their spinach paneer Momos! What made them so delicious was how unique they were to the momos elsewhere, no big onion chunks or other veg textures. I guess inflation caught up to them and they had to change the recipe :( they were my go-to... Not anymore :(“

Every day $7.33 mango slush has brought me so much joy as my son is non verbal and now runs to the store to talk with the staff there! And he is actually saying words! “So many vegan sushi options, made fresh. Portions sizes are also huge and they are very generous with the fresh ingredients - especially the avocado! We didn’t realize this is more of a take-out place and not a sit-down restaurant (my own fault for not doing proper research beforehand) and as we aren’t local to the area and it was pouring rain when we got there, taking our food to go wasn’t really an option. The lovely lady who served us was kind enough to set up 4 chairs around the one table they had in the shop and really did her best to ensure we had a “real meal” that closely resembled a full restaurant experience in the small space at the front of the shop, which we really appreciated!“
