“I wanted to buy some egg waffles, but I didn’t have any cash with me at the moment. I was going to go to an ATM or the bank to get some, but the gentleman told me not to waste my time and money and simply gave me the waffles without taking any payment.

I told him I would come back next week to pay him, but he said I could come back anytime, even a month later or whenever I had a chance.

I honestly felt so grateful and touched by his kindness. Thank you so much to this wonderful gentleman! I really hope this small store goes viral and stays busy. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to buy more waffles!

“First time ordering from Bacha after recommendation from family. Got the Bacha tray with 50 pcs which came with a free drink. They let me switch from milk tea to passion fruit tea as I can’t have lactose. One lady kindly opened the door for me as my hands were full carrying the food. The tray was exactly like their photo, large portions and fresh. The colourful dragon roll had so many ingredients! The spicy salmon rolls wasn’t too spicy. Very good value. Would definitely order it again.“

“CoCo's teas have never been on par with the other bubble tea places but their fruit juices and smoothies are top notch.

This particular location is really convenient as a great after-meal treat. Smack dab in the middle of possibly one of the best chinese restaurant plaza's second only to First Markham Place, and really the only bubble tea option in the entire strip so they practically have a monopoly!

Only thing I would caution is this particular CoCo does not carry yakult so you won't be able to get your favorite go-to CoCo yakult drinks if you like that sort of thing.“

“Really friendly staff and quick service. Dining inside is possible but only a few tables. Interior is cozy. The maki and the sashimi are pretty good and the price is pretty affordable. Their mango slush with mango jelly is also really good.“

She allowed me to taste it before sealing it until she got it right. I’m not a fan of the milk tea as I prefer stronger and have had better but Jeannie made the experience worth trying again.“

I've tried so many different lemon green teas in the area and I keep coming back to Mr. Sun because their lemonade is strong but not too sweet and it does not have that artificial taste that most places have. Pure beaten up lemon in green tea with just the right amount of sweetness. I go multiple times a week for this lemonade!“

“Been coming here ever since I found out about True Boss and its healthy and delicious vinegar enzyme drinks. I was into learning more about gut health during that time, and I realized I really dislike drinking apple cider vinegar (on its own) from those health food retail stores.

True boss has at least 4 different types of fruit vinegar enzymes on the menu (apple, cranberry, peach, plum) and I absolutely fell in love with the Sparkling Plum Vinegar Infusion drink with added aloe dices. (If you are adventurous, go for 30% to no sugar!) There are also tea versions; you can pair it with sparkling, yakult or tea on its own.

From all the overeating, my stomach (bloating) feels better after drinking True Boss. It is definitely a healthier alternative as compared to regular bubble tea. My gut thanks me :3“

“OBSESSED with their coconut custard cups!!! MUST TRY if you live in this area. The custard comes in a young coconut and once you finish the custard there is the young coconut meat to enjoy 😌😌😌😌 I don’t know how they make it but it is heavenly! I’ve never come across anything else like this in the city and since moving downtown I still come to Yonge and Sheppard specifically to have it!“

“Fresh Cup Bubble Tea & Cafe at Peanut Plaza is hands down one of my favorite boba spot in North York! The newly renovated space is super cozy and clean, making it a great place to study or hang out.

Their menu is awesome and their staffs are super friendly, Alisha was especially super great and professional in everything she does.

“So many vegan sushi options, made fresh. Portions sizes are also huge and they are very generous with the fresh ingredients - especially the avocado! We didn’t realize this is more of a take-out place and not a sit-down restaurant (my own fault for not doing proper research beforehand) and as we aren’t local to the area and it was pouring rain when we got there, taking our food to go wasn’t really an option. The lovely lady who served us was kind enough to set up 4 chairs around the one table they had in the shop and really did her best to ensure we had a “real meal” that closely resembled a full restaurant experience in the small space at the front of the shop, which we really appreciated!“

“I LOVE CAFE MOZAIKO.
The attention to detail on the sushi naming and packaging. Fish is always fresh and my personal fave is the torched sushi and tofu pockets. Would get these on repeat everytime. The location near Cathedral town is spacious for indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of drinks to choose from too to pair with the sushi.
If you love Anime and Sushi, this is the spot.

They even had a featured artist alley sticker area by the cashier supporting other local businesses.

“I can honestly say im a regular customer for years! My son is the biggest fan of not just any real fruit but mainly this location because of the staff! Every day $7.33 mango slush has brought me so much joy as my son is non verbal and now runs to the store to talk with the staff there! And he is actually saying words! Not only the drinks are amazing, they have staff with such great customers service that goes beyond just selling a drink. Its my pleasure always only at parkway mall real fruit location! There is one guy there, the only guy there he is so friendly and the female staff , the young ladies are always smiling ! Almost 3 years never a bad experience! “I came in here to grab a quick takeaway lunch older not expecting much but WOW was I surprised with the outcome. I can say this is one of the top sushi I’ve had. Tasted very fresh and the rolls weren’t full of rice. Nicely rolled and the presentation was great with generous portions of fish inside. Service was quick and friendly. Drinks are perfect Everytime and they have what seems like HUNDREDS of different flavours!! 😋 I personally love the Strawberry Mango Jasmine Green Tea (made with Oolong instead of Jasmine) to make it more sweet! “The best fruit bubble tea you can get in Toronto. Annie’s Tea House is ridiculously good, and well priced. She uses fresh fruits and boba is included as a topping everytime. The space is a bit small so seating is limited, but a great place for boba if you’re in the area and want to skip the big chains.“

If you want any pictures printed onto drinks then this is the place to go! The colour comes out so vibrantly! The Sakura flavoured bubble tea with rich and creamy foam on top was a stand out!

We absolutely loved the Lychee infused Swiss roll cake with fresh strawberries and edible flowers ❤. It's nothing like we had before! It's so fluffy and moist.

They also had whimsical 3D foam latte art and many flavours of cookies and mochi! If you want custom cakes, I highly recommend ordering with Sugar Rain Cafe.

“I recently tried Tea Shop 168 at Yonge and Steeles through Too Good To Go, and I was pleasantly surprised by how worthwhile the experience was. The value you get for the price is excellent—generous portions, good variety, and fresh quality.

While I initially visited because of the TGTG offer, it’s the kind of place I could easily see myself coming back to regularly if I lived in Toronto. The drinks were flavorful without being overly sweet, and the overall selection was solid, with plenty of options to suit different tastes.

“Hereby declaring that this yogost location is most superior. I've been to all the others and this one gets the sweetness and consistency of yogurt the best. The flavour is *chef's kiss and once you've had it a couple times, you are sure to be addicted. I love getting the Rice Yogurt drink, 50/50 ice and sugar levels, if anyone needs a recommendation.

4 stars for the slow service due to how long it takes to make the drink.“

“I feel like I have to go back as I feel the snacks are what’s the best part.

I ordered the early grey black diamond. The tea flavour was good, but something was amiss, that I can’t put my finger on it.

I was too full from lunch or I would’ve got one of their bubble waffles because everyone seems to be raving about it in the reviews, so will have to come back for that.

The location is kind of a weird one where it’s facing Kennedy. You can enter from the parking lot underground or if you’re on the main floor, exit from the doors facing Kennedy and go south.

Service was great. Person helping was super informative and recommended the Earl grey for a stronger tea taste.

Also need to give a shoutout to the interior with all the bear bricks

“Overall great experience and tasty yogurt drink.

Had the strawberry yogurt drink. Nice and creamy and thick enough to get some texture but still watery or milk enough to give a pleasantness to drinking it.

Service was good. There wasn’t many people, just one before us and one after us and got our drinks fairly quickly. Most likely a couple mins wait.

Parking can be a nightmare in this plaza since there’s so many food and drink spots and many just camping out at night with lawn chairs and just chilling. Or there’s a car meet also. Those alone take up quite a few spots so just be patient looking for a spot.“

“Really enjoyed my meal at Xin Yi Time! It’s getting harder to find affordable meals these days, so I was surprised that most dishes here are under $13 while still giving such massive portions.

I tried the Taiwanese braised pork rice and it tasted very authentic — super flavorful, well marinated, and nice and saucy. Every combo also comes with rice and 2 veggies, which makes it feel like a complete home-style meal.

The shop itself is small and simple, run by a friendly Asian auntie, which gives it a cozy homemade vibe. Definitely more of a takeout spot, but great for a quick affordable comfort meal. Would come back again!“

“Thank you to the kind and handsome staff who helped me fixed my drink due to there being a lot of seeds from the passionfruit lemonade drink which I had never tried before. But, today I decided to try it for a change at the suggestion of the cashier. Luckily my bus was taking time to come so I decided to sit down and sip my new bubble tea. To my surprise it had both lemon seeds and passionfruit seeds. If it was JUST the passionfruit seeds, I would’ve had no problem but the lemon seeds were thick and bitter especially when I tried to bite it 😱😭. I didn’t even know it had real lemons in it which I thought at first was a nice touch but then the seeds, such a disaster. Anyway, after some internal debating I decided to return to real fruit bubble tea and simply asked if he could possibly strain the seeds, after explaining what happened. He was quick to reassure me that it wasn’t a problem and solved my problem in under 5 mins!! Give these guys a raise lol!! Thanks again for your wonderful help and customer service.
