15 Best Bubble Tea in Richmond Hill

“I've passed by this spot many times but haven't tried it till recently.

I ordered via UberEats thanks to a BOGO deal, so I cannot attest to the physical location since it was a delivered order.

Being my first visit, I felt the need to try a favorite classic drink, so one of the beverages we ordered was the GRASS JELLY OOLONG TEA (less ice, 30% sugar). This sweetness level was perfect for me. Their tea flavor comes through nicely, with a good amount of milk for consistency. Unlike other places, their grass jelly is neatly cut into cubes - these had a good chew and texture to them.

For something more fun, we also upgraded our other beverages by $1.50/each to get them in teddy bear bottles.

STRAWBERRY YAKULT (less ice, 50% sugar)
I really enjoyed this drink! It's fragrant in the best way. The strawberry flavor is prominent while the yakult sweetened it just right. The yakult flavor itself wasn't strong though, but I didn't mind since the overall flavor profile was delicious. This beverage also comes with popping boba which were fun to eat and not nearly as sweet as some of the other brands I've had. I would definitely order this again.

FRUITY ADE SPA IN LYCHEE FLAVOR (with 70% sugar)
Even at 70% sugar, this drink isn't very sweet. The lychee flavor is present but not strong, though I'm curious if this would have changed if we got it at full sugar. This is great for those who like sparkling waters with a slight dose of fruity flavor! Quite refreshing for a hot summer's day.

“I was in this plaza attending a luncheon with a friend. Afterwards we started walking around and found quite a few different bubble tea places. We ended up choosing this one. We ordered a purple taro milk tea and added brown sugar pearls. I was shocked that the pearls were so warm in the cold tea. But we swirled it around and waited for a bit and the temperature did adjust. They were extra sticky , chewy and sweet. Delicious. Paired well with the taro. The drink was really good.We ordered an egg waffle and it took five or ten minutes. It was a little overcooked and the hostess didn't like it, so she made us another one free of charge. That was super sweet of her and we both had one to enjoy. Great customer service!The waffle itself was light and airy. I did end up taking the first waffle so it definitely was a little crunchier than it should have been . They weren't overly sweet and were a good size. I couldn't eat it all. I have had better egg waffle in the past but this one was ok.I loved the cute little photo booth they had inside for customers to purchase photos. A cute establishment. “Came here for a refreshing drink after a hike and the choices are many. There’s something for everyone for sure. They also had several ongoing promotions so it’s best to check out their poster outside their door so that you know which promo you’d like to avail.We had the 2 drinks for $8 and then decided to upgrade to a large with $0.50/drink. It was a great deal.I had the iced honey green tea and my friend had the lychee with jelly. We were both happy with our order.There were a lot of people in line but the order taker was quick and efficient but still polite and patient despite the line up.There is seating available and we were able to get a seat, more people were doing take out.It felt a bit dirty but it was the end of the afternoon so it’s understandable.“

“This store is located inside the Hillcrest mall, which makes its own prons and cons. Friendly, energetic staff , order is ready within a few minutes, timely updates from the store. “I ordered a birthday cake, and as a person who doesn't like cream, I ate all the sugarrain cream cake. My daughter and I have very sensitive tastes and stomachs. This cake has no additives and absolutely no saccharin. I don’t feel greasy after eating the cream. I just feel very comfortable. I even felt hungry two hours after eating 1/8 piece of cream cake at night. . Mangoes are also very fresh. As a mango fanatic, you will know that they are freshly bought mangoes as soon as you eat them, unlike the canned ones used in some places. Some mango juice is also added into the cream, and the cream tastes slightly sweet from mango. I said at the time that I didn't like sweet things, but the store made the cake just right, which was very considerate. It is a very rare healthy, delicious and warm experience“

“This has been my favourite sushi spot since moving to the Richmond Hill/Maple area. Their sushi is by far the best I’ve had and their customer service is incredible. They are always so kind and respectful I would definitely recommend Mitsui for a date night or just a lunch. It is reasonably priced and delicious ???“

“Tasty pot is the best option for when you're feeling hot pot, but you don't want AYCE. The portions are very generous, so you're still getting tons of food for around $20. There are a variety of pots to choose from, each with a different soup base and preloaded with various items like beef, seafood, tofu, veggies, rice cakes etc. The items differ for each pot. My favourites are the Taiwanese pot and the tomato one depending on whether I'm in the mood for something with a kick. The tomato one is very comforting but the Taiwanese one has that sa cha flavour which I love but can be naturally spicy for some. You can actually also adjust the spice level of your soup base when you are ordering. We love coming here all year round, but especially when it gets cold.

“A small place with fun flavors and even more fun containers. Be warned not all drinks come in the flask-looking container.I got jasmine tea with plum jelly. It was a bit strange to drink the jelly since it was just a solid chunk at the bottom of the container. I had to swirl my straw to break it up. It was tasty, though!“
