“First time trying there 🍕 place & heard about it threw social media. What we ordered was great found out that everything is made in house & would take 10-15 mins, also location opened 8 weeks ago. The only feedback I would provide is being clear to customers on where exact location is which is beside SCOTT funeral in Mississauga because the person on the phone asked me if I had a gps & 104 is suppose to be a unit # 400 Dundas St E is the address if you don’t state postal code then customers will 🤔 your located in OAKVILLE..“

“The food was insanely good! Very well seasoned, fresh, good portion sizes, etc. The 2 associates were very friendly and gave us good recommendations (shoutout to them, they both had glasses). Service 10/10, Food 10/10. Drove 1 hour to get here and no regrets!“

“Ordered their egusi and pounded yam on doordash, food is great in terms of taste and it was fresh. I’m giving them a 3 cos they are too pricey it’s actually ridiculous!
I also paid for extra pounded yam but didn’t get it (probably missed it though but i’m pained cos i paid for it and it’s expensive)

UPDATE- you actually pay extra if it’s pounded yam, so i didn’t pay for extra pounded yam, my bad. Now updating to a 4 since the price is the major issue.“

“Never had Pakistani food so this was our first. Spotted this restaurant randomly on the street and it caught my attention. Food was great and service is amazing, shoutout to our waiters Rahi, Asta and Yash to walk us through the menu and service with great hospitality. Will come back and try different things in the future.“

“Amazing tandoori chicken shawarma wraps! Best in the area. The owner let us try the chicken (his own homemade seasoning which is to DIE FOR) and his homemade hummus (WOW).

Was so friendly, and let us know about other dishes they offer, specials they do etc.

“Stopped by The Halal Stop for lunch after visiting the Aga Khan Museum and had a great experience. The staff at the counter was polite and patient, and the place was clean, spacious, and quiet — perfect for catching up with a friend.

We ordered the Philly beef cheesesteak burger, chicken and rice, and a beef burger combo with fries. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the value for money was excellent. Service was excellent and atmosphere was very welcoming. We tried a variety of dishes as we were a group of 9. Some of the items were ordered off the menu were Cendol Coconut, Satay Ayam (Chicken Skewers), Nasi Goreng Shrimp, Nasi Goreng Ayam, Mie Jawa Shrimp, Mie Jawa Chicken, Gulai Ayam, Beef Rendang, Coconut rice and Dadar Gulung. Everything were delicious. Would high recommend to those craving for some tasty Indonesian/Southeast Asian food.“

I ordered their “Everyday Special “- A large breast, a drumstick, fries and a fountain drink for the price of…wait for it…$6.19. You can get regular or spicy too. Took it home and the chicken was exactly the way I like it, crispy and cooked just right. How can you lose at that price.“

“I had Simba's during Ramadan this year, I haven't realized that I should post a review, so here I am. This is, without a doubt, the BEST chicken spot I have ever tried. I went there with my 4 cousins and we all were in love with it, I never knew chicken could be THAT good! We got 2 Ramadan specials and a combo meal, The Ramadan special was amazing, the fried chicken sandwich, the smash burger, the tenders, and the fries were all so good. There's not one thing I disliked about Simba's. Keep up the amazing work, I hope to be back soon!“

The dining room is spacious with plenty of seating.

Marinated with warm spices that remind me of Chinese five spice.
Juicy without being greasy or dry.

The rice is fine, nothing particularly memorable, just doing its job in the background.

Skipped the white sauce this time and went with the hot sauce only.
Big mistake 😭

One bite instantly transported me back to my first visit in New York, when I confidently poured the whole packet over my platter without thinking… then ended up standing on the sidewalk with tears in my eyes.

Asked for extra lettuce this time.
The portion is generous enough for one person, and if you have a smaller appetite, two people could easily share it.“

“He was doing renovations a couple of months ago..I was expecting dine in tables, but it remained the same with a couple of chairs and a shelf by the window.

The chef is only in Canada for a year, so I highly recommend that if you want delicious authentic Pakistani food, that you make it a point to visit before that... because this chef from Lahore doesn't disappoint.

You can dine in with a real plate instead of using take out containers.

If you're white and you like a dumbed down version of 'Indian' food...don't come here and complain.“

My personal favorite is the lamb karahi. Its an absolute must with butter naan. For the quality, portion and pricing, its by far the best desi cuisine I've had. Definitely coming back.“
