“Capital Sweet and Samosa is the place I visit for jalebis and other mithai whenever I am in the Thorncliffe Park neighbourhood. The assorted sweets are measured by the pound and they are reasonable. The vegetarian samosas are decent in terms of quality and value as well.“

“Never had Pakistani food so this was our first. Spotted this restaurant randomly on the street and it caught my attention. Food was great and service is amazing, shoutout to our waiters Rahi, Asta and Yash to walk us through the menu and service with great hospitality. “Stopped by The Halal Stop for lunch after visiting the Aga Khan Museum and had a great experience. The staff at the counter was polite and patient, and the place was clean, spacious, and quiet — perfect for catching up with a friend.
We ordered the Philly beef cheesesteak burger, chicken and rice, and a beef burger combo with fries. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the value for money was excellent. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. “Meet Me at The Halal Stop” is right — we’ll definitely be back!“

“This was my first time visiting The Burger Alley. The menu is Harry Potter inspired and all the names are so fun. We had the Sirius Black and the Dragons Kiss, a side of Alley fries and a deep fried Mozzarella piece. The owner's were so nice and welcoming. There is a huge window from where you can actually see into the kitchen and you will see how clean their kitchen and surroundings are. Will definitely go back and even suggest to my family and friends.“

“I haven't had such delicious chicken tenders in a long time. I'm truly impressed by the spices and the chicken itself; everything was perfect, ten out of ten. I also tried the Zinger burger, which was delicious too, and the fries were very tasty. The service was a bit slow, though; waiting half an hour seems a bit long for tenders. I wish there was
Wi-Fi or a small restroom. Overall, the place is definitely worth trying.

“Everything we ordered was delicious! The grilled lamb kebab were excellent, with a smoky charcoal flavor that made them incredibly tasty. The lamb buns had a perfectly crispy crust, while the filling was juicy and full of flavorful, well-seasoned meat. The cucumber and lamb tripe dish was also fantastic—the portion was very generous, with plenty of meat, and it was both refreshing and satisfying. We left very happy and will definitely be back!“

“I was craving proper desi street & this place hit the spot.
The paratha rolls are fresh, flaky, and packed with flavour—not oily, not dry, just perfectly balanced. The fillings are generous and taste homemade, just like back home.
And the chai? Strong, kadak, and comforting ☕️ exactly how it should be. This place honestly gives Karachi street-food vibes without the chaos.
Quick service, friendly staff, and great value for money. Definitely coming back for late-night cravings and chai breaks!“

“Checked out this Indonesian Street Food restaurant in North York ON with few of our friends. The food was very authentic and tasted very good. Service was excellent and atmosphere was very welcoming. We tried a variety of dishes as we were a group of 9. Some of the items were ordered off the menu were Cendol Coconut, Satay Ayam (Chicken Skewers), Nasi Goreng Shrimp, Nasi Goreng Ayam, Mie Jawa Shrimp, Mie Jawa Chicken, Gulai Ayam, Beef Rendang, Coconut rice and Dadar Gulung. Everything were delicious. Would high recommend to those craving for some tasty Indonesian/Southeast Asian food.“

“First time trying there 🍕 place & heard about it threw social media. What we ordered was great found out that everything is made in house & would take 10-15 mins, also location opened 8 weeks ago. The only feedback I would provide is being clear to customers on where exact location is which is beside SCOTT funeral in Mississauga because the person on the phone asked me if I had a gps & 104 is suppose to be a unit # 400 Dundas St E is the address if you don’t state postal code then customers will 🤔 your located in OAKVILLE..“

“I had Simba's during Ramadan this year, I haven't realized that I should post a review, so here I am. This is, without a doubt, the BEST chicken spot I have ever tried. I went there with my 4 cousins and we all were in love with it, I never knew chicken could be THAT good! We got 2 Ramadan specials and a combo meal, The Ramadan special was amazing, the fried chicken sandwich, the smash burger, the tenders, and the fries were all so good. There's not one thing I disliked about Simba's. Keep up the amazing work, I hope to be back soon!“

“I’ve been living in the area for over 2 years and never tried their fried chicken until yesterday. I ordered their “Everyday Special “- A large breast, a drumstick, fries and a fountain drink for the price of…wait for it…$6.19. You can get regular or spicy too. Took it home and the chicken was exactly the way I like it, crispy and cooked just right. How can you lose at that price.“
