“First time visiting the shop, I was in the area, noticed the sign out front, and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the red snapper with provisions and vegetables, and topped it off with one of their natural fruit juices. Everything was fresh and full of great flavor. The owner was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I’m not in that part of town often, but whenever I am, I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!“

“Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

“The food was great, I had jerk chicken, rice and peas, and slaw on the side. I’m still trying to figure out what the dressing on the slaw was because it tasted so fresh and fruity instead of that gross mayo type sauce that a lot of people use. I don’t live anywhere near Toronto so I don’t know when I’ll get the chance to visit again, but highly recommend!“

“Passed by Downsview and found this Caribbean restaurant. We ordered the oxtail dish and a mango-carrot drink. The oxtail was flavourful with a generous portion, and the drink was refreshing. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Simple interior, but comfortable atmosphere. We’ll come back when we’re in the area.“

“Very high quality oxtail. Every piece of oxtail deboned itself after some jiggling with my fork, that's how tender the meat was. They gave me all high quality cuts. Well seasoned meat, soft like butter, the gravy was beefy.

The rice and peas was next level.

The takeout package was meticulously put together as you can see from the pictures.

Inside the restaurant is humble and fuss free with authentic Jamaican themed decor. Cozy and comfy with a few seats.

Staff was super friendly too and checked with me about the correctness of the warmth of my order. They definitely care about quality.

Definitely the best I've had in my various visits to Caribbean restaurants in the GTA.

The side of macaroni was quite tasty too, a welcome departure from the coleslaw I get at every place.

“My wife and I tried Stacy’s Island Flavour Restaurant & Caterers and WOW, everything absolutely slapped. We ordered the oxtail patty sandwich and the jerk chicken poutine, and both were phenomenal.

The meat was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavour in every bite. You can really tell there’s care put into the food. The portion sizes were more than generous, we definitely left full and satisfied.

The jerk chicken had the perfect level of heat. It gives you that authentic kick without being overwhelming, so even if you’re a bit sensitive to spice, you can still enjoy it without regret.

On top of that, the service was so pleasant and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We waited an appropriate amount of time that it takes to make a fresh meal.

Yes, the oxtail had a lot of bones, but I prefer that over overly fatty, cloying pieces, and the flavour was excellent. The fried chicken was perfection—not too breaded or over-seasoned.

“I went in twice today. I went to inquire about some cocktail patties. I was kind of overlooked the first time but to be fair I was a little aimless. The lady that spoke to me the first time was very knowledgeable and I appreciate her information and suggestions. I came back later and purchased my items. They no longer make cocktail patties. I haven't had these patties in awhile, although they're my long time favorite. They tasted a little different from the ones I sometimes get from my local bakery. I was pleasantly surprised to find there was a good amount of filling. They have a good variety of patties overall. Lots of people were coming in throughout the time I was there.
