“Called around 2:30 PM on Christmas Eve asking if they still had oxtail. I was told yes and i mentioned I’d be there within the hour. When we arrived, the owner had saved our portions for us — such a thoughtful and generous gesture, especially on a busy holiday.
The oxtail was absolutely amazing — rich, tender, and full of flavour — and the portions were very generous. I had called several other places earlier and no one else had oxtail left at that time, so this really felt special.
Incredible food and even better customer service!!!! I can't wait to be back and tell everyone at work about it!!!“

“So thrilled to finally have a quality j*** joint in the hood. Ox Tail is perfectly seasoned & cooked. Curry Goat to die for. I love Wanda’s J*** pork. It’s real spicy. She does a great cook on the her chicken as well. I haven’t had a meal that I can kvitch about. Even the fish is tasty & tender. Sides are perfectly cooked & if ya want it hotter ask Wanda for their hot sauce !!! Yikes Prices & portions are reasonable. I still can’t believe that a joint like this exists in a burb like Clarkson ….“

“If you have never been to Mysore/Bangalore in Karnataka, India, then don't worry, you can experience the same taste at Mysore Darshini. It is a small eatery, very simple decor. They have both veg and non-veg options to choose from. Their medu vadas are a class on its own. My favourite are the dosas which are cooked to perfection. My kids love the mutton dishes which are very flavourful. We have tried many items and each dish tastes amazing. Shailendra is the owner and chef and takes pride in his dishes. Each item is brought to the table piping hot. We can't wait for our next visit once the lockdowns are lifted. Shailendra definitely makes us feel at home.“

“Stopped in to satisfy a fried chicken craving. Ended up getting a fired chicken and jerk chicken half n half combo on beans and rice. Serving was good size for $22. The chicken was lovely and moist with great flavours. They added a sweet kind of plum sauce with the fried chicken. Haven't seen that before but loved it! Gave me a side of coleslaw also and it was so creamy. Not watery lettuce like you get in a lot of places. All in all. Top marks 👌“

“This is a place that quality is strictly dependent on who is working. In my opinion.
I have been coming here for close to 35 years and I definitely noticed a pattern. The Chinese Jamaican lady that serves is absolutely a gem and nice and gives u better cuts of meat (jerk pork) yet some of the other ladies will give u gristle and fat non edible chunks like u are some sort of idiot who won't care. So if u go... Speak up and tell her to not use fatty cut chunks. A few times I threw out portions of the jerk pork because it was not edible... unless you are a wolf.
They make the best jerk pork ever... It's definitely worth coming here. Just be vigilant and watch them prep your pork and speak up. That's what I do now and u can't go wrong.“

“I live in the neighbourhood and was walking past looking for lunch, and the owner happened to be opening up and told me to try this out. I am glad I listened. The place is clean, the owner is polite and welcoming, the food smelled amazing and tasted even better. You cannot beat the lunch special for that price. And I can’t wait to try more of the menu! I will be making much more visits to this place. Highly recommend.“

“It was first time dining in at Taudo's yesterday and my family and I had a great time! The portion sizes of each meal was significant. I really enjoyed the garlic butter shrimp pasta while my family had the brown stew fish.

“My friend told me to check this place out so today I drove over. I didn’t know what to order but the Owner told me her favourite was the Chung’s hot chicken so I decided to get that with some haha noodles. This does not disappoint. I will have to come back and try many other things on this menu so this is the first review. It’ll be edited and updated after I try a lot more. I suggest check this place out!“

“Great place great people amazing food ... it's hard to find place we're you actually get what you pay for these Days.. they have daily specials and everything's good you get so much flavour and food for your money this place is becoming a more then Regular stop for me I'd definitely recommend trying it ......parking is a bit crazy but it's worth it

“MOST DELICIOUS JAMAICAN FOOD! Oh my was this food delicious. I ordered Oxtail over rice and peas, it was tender, flavourful and the rice and peas was nice and moist and flavourful unlike other Jamaican spots. Definitely recommend, next time I will get Curry Goat and let the people know!“
