“Nicaroma has the best brewed and iced coffee in the neighbourhood. Their coffee is always fresh and consistent which we love (if you like simple coffee you know how amazing is to always get the taste you love!). They also offered food, pastries and fancy drinks!“

“Had the ham and cheese panini and it was delicious. It was our first time visiting this local coffee place and it was nice. Friendly staff. We likely will be back on our Saturday morning walk.“

“Main cons: no seating, and during the morning rush, be prepared to stand in line on the sidewalk
The coffee is wonderful! I also really liked that medium and large iced lattes are available, so you’re not limited to just 16 oz. We also tried a plain croissant, and it was nicely buttery and flaky.“

“What a great little Cafe! The coffee was yummy; not your standard cookie cutter coffee. We ordered breakfast sandwiches that were absolutely amazing. The English muffin did not taste store bought but homemade. It was so good and the portion was just right. The atmosphere was perfect. The music was loud enough to hear but not so loud that it made conversing difficult. Cute interior and cozy seating. A great find!!!“

“Café Daki gets its name from the Greek word kafedaki — “a small cup of coffee” — and that pretty much sets the tone.
Tucked into St. Clair West in Toronto, this tiny-but-mighty café delivers a distinctly European feel with a soft touch of Greece. The footprint is small, but the execution is thoughtful enough that nothing feels missing. It’s the kind of space that makes you reconsider what “small” can actually do.
When you walk in, there’s a charming little nook to the left — potted plants, a vintage-style table, a mirror that bounces the light just right. Cozy without trying too hard. On the opposite wall (only a few feet away), a slim row of seating (4-5) makes dine-in possible without crowding the space. Every inch feels intentional.
There’s a refrigerated retail section stocked with water, hummus, packaged drinks, and desserts. A small board highlighting local businesses adds a community touch. One of my favourite details? A bicycle mounted along the wall with a wooden plank across the top, cleverly used to hold lids, tissues, and essentials. Functional, but also very aesthetic.
The coffee program is strong. They use beans from De Mello Coffee Roasters, and the classic espresso menu is all there — plus traditional Greek coffee. (Quick tip: drink it while it’s hot; let it sit too long and the grounds rise to the top.) Alternative milk options are plenty — oat, almond, coconut, soy — and their tea selection features premium blends from Sloane Fine Tea Merchants.
The baked goods lean Greek in the best way — spanakopita and tiropita that are flaky, savoury, and genuinely satisfying. On the retail shelf, you’ll find De Mello beans alongside Greek extra virgin olive oil and thyme honey — small details that round out the story.
Café Daki proves you don’t need square footage to create atmosphere. Just intention, warmth, and a very good cup of coffee.“

“I have been here many time, the menu is small only 10 items but I like all of them. I usually always get the steak, the tacos and pupusas are good too, and the soups beef or chicken are tasty.
The little variety store, when they have stock, has a nice selection of Guatemalan grocery items.“

“So glad I discovered this place via Too good to go. Mabel's Bakery & Specialty Foods gave a generous bag well worth the money and my family enjoyed everything. My favourite was the almond croissant“

Coffee Time to the Rescue!
This Coffee Time, located at the corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue, has long been a trusted gem in the neighbourhood.
The coffee is always fresh and piping hot, and the donuts and muffins are consistently scrumptious. Their menu goes far beyond baked goods too — from breakfast sandwiches and wraps to soups and other quick bites, there’s always something satisfying to pair with your coffee.
Whether you’re rushing out the door or simply craving something delicious to go, Coffee Time has you covered at any hour of the day. Breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, dinner, or even that late‑day “dinner snack” — any time is a good time to stop by.
The customer service is excellent, and there’s plenty of seating if you want to settle in with a book, meet a friend, or open your laptop and get some work done.
And the donuts? That’s the real love story. They’re perfectly cakey, delightfully yeasty, and absolutely ideal for dunking.“

“What a wonderful experience! The breakfast was excellent, and the coffee was simply amazing. The warm atmosphere and beautiful artwork depicting Portugal's lush green countryside create such a refreshing and peaceful feeling. I've never been to Portugal, but for a moment, it felt as though I was transported there. The charm and comfort of this bakery are difficult to put into words.
Everything is prepared with genuine care and passion. Please support local businesses—they truly put their heart and soul into what they do. This place is a MUST try at least once!“

“Usually the service is great here. The people making sandwiches do a fine job as well. This is a highly trafficked area with the college being nearby.
I place all my orders in the app. And ive only ever had to wait twice.“
