“👉 First of all, this restaurant is NOT in King, as Google Maps suggests. It's at the bridge in Bradford (Simcoe/York border).

This restaurant has been around since my childhood, and though we don't go often, we ALWAYS go there for our large family outings.

They are super accommodating with tons of space and incredible food. I've never had a bad meal at the Riverview. The interior has remained original, which I love. It's comforting to see something that stands the test of time with its retro charm and fights against modern coldness. I much prefer it, if I'm being honest. Modern restaurants have their place, but old school charm is where it's at...

If you haven't yet been to The Riverview, you need to go. Above average portion sizes, great food and service at a reasonable cost. And tons of retro, small town personality.

I would suggest following them on Facebook or Instagram, but... you CAN'T! Old school at its very best. No social media. You'll just have to trust me :)“

“I was there in rush hour. Huge lineup in drive thru and dining was full of people. But heads off to these crew members. Everyone was working so hard. Despite the rush i got my order in 60 seconds. This store is very busy in evening. There was a young Indian manager Nav, who was serving. She looks pretty experienced.“

“I accidentally stopped by this cafe today. Once I entered, I felt as if I know everyone there. I saw the owner chatting with everyone and his assistant girl moving among tables like a butterfly. The owner is so gentle. I didn't talk to him, but was monitoring his amazing attitude with ppl. He was sitting with a customer, then he was chatting with another one at the cash. I even saw him cleaning the floor. What an example!
His assistant was serving coffees and food with a real smile on her face. They just made me happy. What a vibe! I got a cappuccino and it was heavenly good! Thanks guys for making your own real community, for dealing with ppl that nice (rare in Toronto). If I wanna come back to Toronto, I would come back just for this coffee shop.“

“I have worked at eglinton square mall for almost 20 yrs. I go to Timmies almost every day. Breakfast, sometimes lunch n sometimes after work snacks. The ladies in the mornings, at the front counter are so fast n efficient. Alysha and Rowena are so fast even with long line ups n i'm always amazed how they memorize most of the regulars orders n names. I love the Timmies team here! Alysha, Rowena, Ruche, Eva... there are others, apologies for not remembering the names, but this team is Amazing! The store is very clean. If you're ever in the eglinton square area, please drop in and say hello to these Amazing ladies and plz be nice...thank you also to the amazing ppl in the back that prepare everything behind the scenes. “Soul Chocolate is a delicious place to grab a treat. The hot chocolate, mochas and frozen hot chocolate are very yummy. The chocolate tart and chocolate chip cookies are a great accompanyment. There's lots of space for babies to hang out here as well. A great place to take your baby and meet up with friends. The staff are so friendly and warm.“

Food wasn't fresh, took over 2h for my drink which was so sweet I couldn't drink it, fungas gnats all over our table, we went as a group and we paid nearly $100 a person for crappy food, service, well if you call reheated appetizers food that is. Each person got 1 piece of appetizer each, from three "courses", we ended up going elsewhere to eat real food... never again. Oh and not to mention, took us over 2h to get there (we were excited and quickly dissapointed), and they charged the same amount for our kids under 8, as they did for adults, as well as a forced tip!! Not worth it, don't waste your time or money.“

Great coffee shop, wildly fun roasts. Milkshake is impressive with pineapple upside down cake notes, doesnt turn sour. Tropical will get acidic real quick. Ethically sourced. They have very fancy bikes for sale (if you have $3000 + to spare (tire-get it). This is probably my favorite drip coffee spot.“

I am a manager for WestJet Airlines so I travel a lot with my family, our favorite place is Mexico we are there often & have been all over Mexico, we plan to retire there one day it has a special place in our hearts. So to say we have eaten a lot of Mexican food is putting it lightly & I can say the food here is very authentic & made with love for the food, the mole is some of the best we've ever had including in Mexico & that's saying a lot. Corazon is Mexican done right & the warm hospitality makes it that much more special, this is our go to for Mexican here in Toronto & we will be here regularly. “Very well located, right in front of Riverdale park, super popular and busy but the coffee is smooth and de pastries are divine. It’s always busy but if you cannot find a seat, you can just hangout in the park.
