“Is there anything better than walking into an ice cream shop where ever ice cream is vegan? No, there is not. We were super excited to stop at Honeys but the downside is that the majority of their ice cream is sold by the pint which kind of sucks for tourists who don’t have freezer access and just want a scoop. We decided on the Chocolate Cinnamon Babka, and the Niagara Grape sherbet. I am not usually a lover of sherbet but it was excellent, much creamier than any sherbet I have had before. The babka flavour was also really good but not as unusual. Honeys is definitely worth a visit.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Dairy Cream — honestly one of Mississauga’s sweetest treasures! This place has been around since 1958 and continues to be a local landmark because the classic ice cream and dessert experience here simply never gets old. 

My absolute favourite is the strawberry funnel cake with ice cream — warm, crisp funnel cake topped with creamy, rich soft serve and sweet strawberry goodness. It tastes just as indulgent as the ones you’d get at Wonderland or Centre Island, but right here in the city! 

Beyond that, the menu is packed with delicious options. People rave about their soft serve cones, dipped cones especially chocolate, cherry and other fun dip flavours. There are also classic banana splits, sundaes, milkshakes, and just about everything else. All the portions are generous and full of flavour, so we always have some leftover to share. 

There’s usually a line in summer — and for good reason. Folks happily wait for a treat that transports them right back to nostalgic summer nights. The vibe is classic, the staff are friendly, and the old-school charm makes every visit feel special. “

Kiddie and regular sizing comes with 1-2 flavours, while the large comes with 1-4 flavours. Also the ice cream is a lot in one cup for regular, and was very filling. I love the serving sizes here! I like to put on the scale like this, DQ’s is a soft cream ice cream, they should charge like a dollar for their ice cream, but instead it’s like $4 to $5 at this time. Baskin Robins has the best cost/benefit of all. Pretty tasty ice cream and comparing to DQ’s, it’s the same price to have a real ice cream. But now, when it comes to real deal artesanal extremely flavourful and creamy ice cream, flavours nowhere else makes it and have the advantage to take a pint to go without taxes, it totally worth it to come to this one! We ordered the Brookie Sunday (brownie + cookie situation) and… wow. Rich, indulgent, perfectly balanced, and straight-up unreal. One bite in and my girl just looked at me and said, “Next level.” Zero exaggeration.

“When I first saw this place there used to be long queues outside this shop during Covid days. Then I thought that may be I am missing something. Then on one day I went there when it was not so busy. My daughter just loved it...we tried gulab jamin roll ice cream. Not only good taste but it was interesting to see how the rolls were actually made. Saw kids just looking at the process of making these rolls. Rates slightly on the higher side but was worth it!!!“
