“My fiancee and I just had your food for the first time. What the hell ...... IT WAS DELICIOUS! We rarely ever order Italian food bc it's just never the same as my nonna's or my father's cooking, but this was absolutely spot on. Fantastic flavors, quality ingredients, and just very authentic. We ordered the Pasta a la Norma (eggplant cooked to perfection, fresh basil, quality ricotta, and finally a sauce with the right amount of garlic i.e. a lot), and pepperoni pizza (that dough doe). What's the most ridiculous is that we've lived a 5 minute walk away for two years now and it never occured for us to get food here. That was stupid, and we will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.“

“We had supper at this location last evening with my husband’s two daughters and one our granddaughters, her boyfriend and our son-in-law. Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. He organized individual bills accurately and everything came as ordered. He is an excellent member of your staff, and we hope to be served by him at our next visit!!“

“Coffees, lattes, teas, cocktails and smoothies are always great! I literally go every other day.
The place itself is so cute. Love the garage window-door, the slate tables, sky windows, and the decor is perfect. The best items on the food menu are deffs the Mac + Cheese and cauliflower bites. Fries are good too!

“I don’t live in Hamilton anymore and Café Oranje is one of the places I miss the most. All of the staff are so so so lovely and our conversations, although brief, would always brighten my day. The café itself is cozy and fun featuring vintage artwork of Hamilton. They have awesome food and drinks, with their matcha latte being my all time favourite. A true local Hamilton gem that you must try if you’re in town :)“

“Berkeley is one of Hamilton's best restaurants with a great atmosphere, excellent food and interesting cocktails. I've been there many times now and they've never disappointed. The one thing I would say, is that having been going to Berkeley for a number of years now, I would love them to change up their menu a bit more frequently. Some of their dishes have been on the menu for as long as I can remember, and given the menu is quite small to begin with, if you're a repeat customer it can get a little boring at times. Freshening up the menu once in a while would go a long way“

“Don't let the outside of this place fool you. Inside has the best korean food Hamilton has to offer. I am very picky when it comes to Korean food and I love everything I've ordered from Ajio. Can't really speak too much about the Japanese food because I usually come to Ajio for their korean food but I haven't gotten anything I didn't like. Service is great too. It's just a small place but their food is worth it, I would definitely recommend.“

“This is a great Indian restaurant from the Himalayan Foothills of Himachal. Thats the cuisine they serve. Its vegetarian based dishes, sweets and dhaba style curries, snacks and brunch items from North India. They have the tastiest and most authentic Indian food called halwai or confectioner dishes back home. They use great quality ingredients and you can taste the difference in quality.

“I think La Luna was the first Lebanese restaurant I ever ate at, more years ago than I want to count. I was in town for an appointment and took my teen there and it is still fantastic. We had the lunch special and the wrap and salad were a generous portion and delicious. The baklava was tasty and 1 order was plenty to share for 2 people. Highly recommend!“

“Saint James is one of those places where the menu is small but it is perfected! We ordered English muffins and The Golden Oldie with Matcha and Mocha. The food and the drinks were delicious and the service was great. I especially loved how crispy the home fries and hash browns were.“

Service is friendly especially the older lady with a short curly hair. She is very sweet and friendly.

“Went to Born & Raised on a Thursday night in August 2024 and had a very pleasant experience. I had an Asahi beer and pepperoni pizza and my wife had the meatballs and rigatoni. Our bill after tax and tip was approx $80 which I thought was a bit steep for an Italian. The beer list was very limited. All in all a very nice night out.“

“Came in today as my elderly dad wanted a home style meal, so I remembered seeing a facebook post about this llace and decided to give it a try. My dad was happy with the food, he enjoyed his beef dip and I had a regular burger meal. I also enjoyed the burger, was nice to see it was not a frozen patty, the fries were fresh and hot, gravy was good, bit on the salty side. Our server was friendly. Didn't get her name, blonde lady.

(Only thing about our visit was that it was a bit warm inside considering it was approx 35° outside, a bit more air conditioning would have made it a bit more pleasant, and washrooms are in the basement making it unaccessible to those with mobility issues, my dad is 81 and had to go but had to hold it til he got back home.
We over all enjoy our visit, I still wanna try the fish n chips, as today wasn't available on a Sunday.

They ask that you pay with cash. But card is available. Cause why give the banks your money.

“Took family here for lunch for some gluten free options and was impressed at the 100% gluten free menu.

I'm not vegan or celiac but the food was great, really crunchy fries and very creative faux meat dishes like the bacon cheeseburger and corn dog. Great drink options too.

I would give 5 stars but the service wasn't as friendly as other Hamilton spots and the food took quite a long time to come even tho the place was quiet.

If you've got people in your party with dietary restrictions, this place is a really good option.“

“Plaza Pizza and Wings never disappoints, I have never been a regular of a pizza place before but, the food and the service are always fantastic. I’m on a mission to try everything on the menu at least once. I have tried their pizza, wings, chicken shawarma dinner, chicken and beef shawarma pizza, chicken shawarma poutine, the burger and fries, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, cheese bread, Caesar salad, breaded mushrooms and even the cheesecake. Not one disappointment. Even the Arancini!“

“Dinner with friends at Valentino's Westdale was with mixed reviews. The food and service was, as always, top notch, but the restaurant was very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices over the other guests. Sadly, that was the takeaway.
Our server was excellent, checking in often and without pressure. The pizza, risotto, and chicken parms that we ordered were tasty and cooked perfectly.
Valentino's shines with their desserts, I think, and we couldn't leave without ordering a few. My Italian Coffee was a lukewarm, but that is to be expected I suppose with all of that fresh, cold whipped cream on top! Still so good.
Bonus points for extremely clean bathrooms that smelled like strawberry.“

“I was visiting downtown Hamilton and stopped in here for dinner. I ordered machine chicken noodle bowl and spicy crawfish. This was a delicious meal. I don't normally eat all my food but I did that day. Price was great. You get plenty for the money you paid. I would go back again and highly recommend you eat here. Great service everything tasted fresh.

Parking: This is downtown and I had paid for parking in a parking area there. So I can walk a while. Paid 12 bucks to park for 3 hrs.

“Our first time trying food here in Hamilton. Then we fall in love to this restaurant. The owner warmly welcomed us and took good care of us. The food was extremely delicious, we ate it and there was nothing left on the table. The first impression is the restaurant has a lot of local people coming to eat. I'm so proud to know that a huge of local people love Vietnamese food like this. The owner specially introduced us to a new drink: cold peach kumquat, very cool for the summer but I forgot to take a photo. “Went here a few weeks ago with a couple of my girlfriends sat on the patio and had an AMAZING time!! ?☺️ Zack D was such a phenomenal server he was a gem of a human being so bubbly, down to earth and kind! He went above and beyond we even got a complimentary side ceasar salad as per the managers approval and an extra rum and coke as well! The food was standout my tater tot nachos were so spicy and yummy definitely recommended!! Also the beer flight was awesome for $12 gets you 4 different lil' beers so cute ?“
