“Came out to celebrate my birthday with a friend last night and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was above par; we had the trout and steak which were both delicious. Our server, Nicole was attentive and well-versed, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring we always had what we needed. Despite the restaurant being very busy, we had an excellent seat in the booth which was very comfy and we really appreciated the atmosphere. We will be recommending this adorable spot and dining again in the near future!“

It looks like a good coffee in the southern Ontario area cost a lot these days. Well, what can we do, instead of daily visits it's going to be the only a once per week treat.“

“We had supper at this location last evening with my husband’s two daughters and one our granddaughters, her boyfriend and our son-in-law. Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. He organized individual bills accurately and everything came as ordered. He is an excellent member of your staff, and we hope to be served by him at our next visit!!“

There was a food allergy that our team failed to communicate prior, when I I arrived I let them know and they were so nice and fixed it right away despite it being our mistake. “I don’t live in Hamilton anymore and Café Oranje is one of the places I miss the most. All of the staff are so so so lovely and our conversations, although brief, would always brighten my day. The café itself is cozy and fun featuring vintage artwork of Hamilton. They have awesome food and drinks, with their matcha latte being my all time favourite. A true local Hamilton gem that you must try if you’re in town :)“

It broke the Scale in my mind, their pizza is amazing their sauce, especially when you put extra cheese delicious and they have great customer service so I give Domino five stars I will buy pizza from there more often and especially when you download the app the discounts“

“One thing here - we picked up a pizza from their store and they said the pizza was 12.99 plus tax then it came to exactly $16 on debit which doesn't add up so double check your price before paying because although it's a few cents it's just kinda strange. “Dishes come at such different times for a table of 5. Food was okay. Price was okay. Not the biggest fan of the sushi. Rolls are very large and a lot of rice. Took them a good 45 min for fried rice. Asking questions about the menu, servers seemed annoyed. One of the servers was getting touched up and down by the girls sitting behind, extremely loud and obnoxious. A lot of side dishes.“

“Incredibly delicious food, served up in generous portions. I was visiting in the Hamilton area and found the food so tasty, that I ate here three times in a week; twice for lunch, once for dinner. First visit: lunch: had the vegetarian dish/platter of hummos, eggplant, falafel, fried cauliflower, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms, served with your choice of soup or any of the salads on the menu and dinner plate sized fresh pitas. I had the Greek salad, which was excellent and, again, a generous portion. This meal could easily have been shared with two people, especially for lunch. My lunch mate took half of her meal home and I took my left over hummos (at least a half a cup) and pita for an afternoon snack later. Second visit: dinner with a group of six: I started with lentil soup, then had the spicy lemon shrimp with pilaf style rice and served with pita bread. We shared the salads that came as starters; all were delicious: Greek, Fatoush, and Tabouli. Third visit: spicy lemon shrimp, but substituted hummos for the rice. Again, generous portion with at least two dozen shrimp. Nothing chintzy about this place. The service could be a little more attentive, especially for the second dinner, which was at around 3:30 p.m. and, as is often the case when a restaurant is almost empty, was not hurried by any means. I had told the waitress I was in a hurry, but that didn't seem to help. Had to track her down to make my order and then my bill never came, so I went to the counter to pay. The service was better during the busy lunch and dinner hour visits. Still the food is so worth it, that I would go here anytime I'm back in the area and would recommend it to anyone.“

“Was our breakfast stop on Monday morning and it was a great choice. Friendly atmosphere, good food, portions were bigger than we expected and it was a good surprise. Coffe is great. Wish they had more tables and space. Also better to ask them about the dish, as some descriptions doesn't say that it is spicy, which would be frustrating for someone who can not tolerate peppers. Overall great experience.“

We came from St Catharines.

We are celebrating our 9th Anniversary and came here Cassey served us.
She was FABULOUS! Her demeanour was down to earth friendly.
She was quick and responsive.
We ordered for dinner...
Wife had Chicken Slovakia with coleslaw and bread with tziki sauce. She loved every bite.
I had the pork schnitzel with fries with a superb mushroom gravy.
Portions were well sized!
Food was fantastic!
Highly recommend!
We WILL be back.

“This place has been doing it right since I was a kid in the 80's, had my rehearsal dinner there in '95, and every time since that I have a chance to do I enjoy it. Hamiltonians better appreciate the access to quality Italian food that they enjoy!“

“Excellent family restaurant, amazing service (Thanks Michelle and others). Great omelette. Bottomless coffee. It’s a huge place. Booths and tables. Between 8.30 and 10.30 on a Saturday it was about 50% occupied and the CO2 didn’t go above 800 (good ventilation). Friendly, welcoming. Thank you!

Vegetarian options: An egg place is not going to be very good for vegans, but this place is easy for vegetarians. Omelette and eggs benny have vegetarian options.“

Look no further than Kenzo Ramen! Such a vast array of broths to choose from, that you really could try it all if you come here once a week… not a fan of noodle soup? DONT WORRY! “Our first time trying food here in Hamilton. Then we fall in love to this restaurant. The owner warmly welcomed us and took good care of us. The food was extremely delicious, we ate it and there was nothing left on the table. The first impression is the restaurant has a lot of local people coming to eat. I'm so proud to know that a huge of local people love Vietnamese food like this. The owner specially introduced us to a new drink: cold peach kumquat, very cool for the summer but I forgot to take a photo.
