“When I found out about Indonesian’s Flavour I was a bit hesitant but I tried their food and was surprised and happy that I did not have to travel far such as to Mississauga or Toronto to eat satay , nasi goreng or rendang , etc . It is all in the Hammer /Farmer’s market . Hamilton is lucky to have Indonesian cuisine , which can come to you mild or really spicy . …You just have to ask . Now if we can only ask them to get a bigger restaurant with lots of chairs and tables for a truly good and yummy dining experience !“

“Delicious! We came here on a whim and needed Eggs Benedict and I was blown away with the precise quality and fantastic Eggs Benedict. Crisp and savoury bacon and really good hollandaise sauce. Without any side dishes to clutter the dish or compete with how good the Eggs Benedict was. Deeply impressed with the service and pleasant atmosphere. Not your run of the mill diner Eggs Benedict.

The waffles are also to die for. Crisp and light with the perfect amount of icing sugar.

A huge compliment to the chef—their mastery of the craft and attention to detail really shine through in the bowl. “We can't wait to return for a full dinner. We came for an end of night appetizer and cocktails. It was by far the best butter chicken we have ever had, the cheese on sourdough was so light and refreshing. Our cocktails on paper sounded daunting, interesting flavours to pair together but amazing flavour and easy to drink! The oolong ember is highly recommended. Overall good value for high quality food in a relaxed setting.“

“The food here is absolutely delightful! I had the vegetable croquettes, as shrimp and vegetable gyoza were not available. The vegetable Croquettes were like an upscaled potato Patty with the crunch of a hash brown. Came with a really tasty dipping sauce.

Don't understand the criticism about the portion sizes. The vegetable Ramen was a massive bowl. I couldn't even eat it all. A variety of vegetables, seaweed, and noodles with an added egg. Savory, hot, delicious and very very filling.

I had the regular spicy level. If you're accustomed to heat, then you'll want to get spicy. This was what I call white people hot. As in, not very. But still very flavourful.

The atmosphere is relaxing and it's very clean.“

“We had the most incredible experience celebrating our wedding at Edgewater Manor!

From start to finish, everything was absolutely top notch. Peter and his entire team were wonderful to work with, and they helped make our wedding evening truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to all of the staff, including the setup crew, service team, and takedown crew. Everyone was professional, attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire evening. It allowed us to relax, enjoy ourselves, and spend the night celebrating with our family and friends without having to worry about a thing.

And the food was unparalleled. The quality was exceptional, and the portions were incredibly generous—our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. We received so many compliments about the food, and it was clear that an enormous amount of care went into every dish.

We also received countless compliments about the venue itself, the atmosphere, and the service. Everything came together beautifully, and Edgewater Manor provided the perfect setting for such an important day in our lives.

“Good but expensive. Like airport latte prices. Thats the only place ive paid over $8 for a coffee. Once you tip you might as well have bought lunch. But I'll say this expresso is like rocket fuel. Very similar affect to coffee ive had in the Dominican Republic. If you need to lock in or be up for 2 days this is for you. 😮‍💨“

“Dinner was great! We got open one of the sandwiches on it's own, and another as a combo, with fries and a soft drink. A bit pricey, but not bad. We had the food to go, so by the time we got to our hotel (a 2 minute walk), the sandwich had lost a bit of it's crispness, but it still tasted delicious. The fries were perfectly cooked and salted, and did not need any ketchup. So good. The cashier was very friendly, and was patient with us trying to navigate the menu and walked us through it. Would definitely visit again, but stay and eat in this time.“

“My wife and I ordered the combination platter with both the chicken and beef, and it was absolutely delicious. While both meats were great, I personally enjoyed the beef much more and would definitely order that on its own next time.

The tabouli salad was incredibly fresh and flavorful, the pita bread was soft and warm, and we finished our meal with the baklava, which was the perfect sweet ending.

What really made our visit stand out, though, was the service. Our waitress was upbeat, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Her positive attitude made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Great food, excellent service, and we’ll definitely be back!“

“Pretty decent pizza. Got the big apple new york style thin slice pizza that is supposed to be loaded with pep. For whatever reason my pizza seemed a little light on the pep. Got the standard garlic dips. I decided to get the hot honey drizzle and extra cheese added - great decision, but all together this made the pizza pretty expensive and it came to 35 bucks for a large big apple. Stung. Kinda disappointed that the girl working didn't make the pizza well done like i requested, but hey it it was still good. Pizza was top notch, peps were great, crust was pretty good, tomato sauce was OK. Got parm and pepper flakes too sprinkled on too, excellent.“

The ambiance was a delight, the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders right when they opened and the bartender was nice. My pint of beer was nice and cold and my club sandwich was over the top awesome and left me feeling full. My girlfriend enjoyed the burger — which the beef patty looked house made- and my Caesar salad was made with fresh crunchy lettuce! We’ll definitely be back for more! Cheers!“

“I recommend the Locke St location which is excellent. But I just had delivery from either the King W or Dundas one that was brutal. Tortellini soup had like 3 Tortellinis and the burgers had clearly been pre cooked but not reheated tastied like cold grease and the cheese was not even remotely melted and still cold. Anyway the Locke location is awesome but wont do delivery again in case the delivery service goes to another location.“
