“When I found out about Indonesian’s Flavour I was a bit hesitant but I tried their food and was surprised and happy that I did not have to travel far such as to Mississauga or Toronto to eat satay , nasi goreng or rendang , etc . It is all in the Hammer /Farmer’s market . Hamilton is lucky to have Indonesian cuisine , which can come to you mild or really spicy . …You just have to ask . Now if we can only ask them to get a bigger restaurant with lots of chairs and tables for a truly good and yummy dining experience !“

Thursday lunch hour ( all day breakfast ). Our 1st visit we are greated with a friendly reminder to have our Labrador ( Highway ) use the green outside so not to interrupt our dining experience. As our 1st time it was important to show proof of vacancies and neutered as the fur babies room freely ( no aggressive dogs or people )
The environment is open and toys water are available. The menu is top notch and well priced for the options . We had waffles and coffee. Our Dog had a small waffle and scrambled egg. The restaurant supports the Dog rescue and fostering also organized by the owners . A high level of respect and acceptance of for dog lovers and the Dogs .
The owner and us talked about training and fostering and furever homes . If you have a sweet tooth and a dog then this is a must visit . They also have High quality Dog treats available for sale .
Highway will want to come back for the waffles eggs and pack fun“

“We just came back from a trip from Japan and for my husband's birthday, he wanted ramen. We found this cute jewel of a place and WOW!! I got the vegan miso ramen and he got the creamy chicken ramen and both were fabulous!! I really liked how both portions, veg or not, came with a lot of vegetables and the broth was the most richest delicious flavour i've had in a while. We also tried their non alcoholic plum wine and that was a really nice surprise. Everything we tried was a success- thank you for a lovely dinner!“

As someone whose career took her to many rubber chicken dinner events, I know how remarkable it is to be served really good food at a large banquet....and it is even more remarkable that you were able to do this in the middle of a major snowstorm. “my friend & i visited last night - we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
Leanne provided excellent service despite working solo in a full-house on a very busy monday evening.
at first she politely expressed reluctance to seat us & honest concern we may experience lengthy wait time but, she so very graciously allowed us to seat ourselves on the patio where my friend & i more than happily entertained ourselves in conversation.
our experience was well worth the wait.
dinner was delicious! i had the trout & prosecco and my friend had chicken & paloma cocktail. both dishes were beautifully plated and perfect in flavour - i highly recommend the trout w capers to other future diners.
Leanne was lovely and we enjoyed chatting with her at the end of our meal.

“Stopped here on our way to an event at TD coliseum. They have a special every day of the week. Monday was a classic burger combo for $13. Awesome value and the server was super pleasant. Food was great. Definitely would stop here again if I'm ever going to the arena for an event.“

“I tried Ramen for first time in this restaurant and I absolutely loved it. The food felt like home cooked food. Portion was perfect. Dumpling was also great. The taste felt like it did not have any artificial taste enhancers. I felt the place is providing safe and authentic food.“

“We came here, for lunch, to celebrate a graduation, on a Tuesday. Service was prompt and polite. They accommodated a celiac diet by creating a dish (not on the menu) fresh, and free from any cross contamination. All the meals at the table were delicious- particularly the mushroom risotto... I would go back purely for that. There cocktails were not extraordinary, however its worth mentioning the house pinot grigio was phenomenal.

Side note, I appreciate that a place like this doesn't enforce a strict dress code. Although we were all dressed up due to coming from an event its nice to know I can enjoy this level of food without having to get dressed to the nines every time.“

“This place is a gem, and the food is always delicious! My favorite is the pulled beef sandwich, and I think they have the best hummus in Hamilton. Honestly, all the food I’ve tried here is delicious, including the coffee. The staff is very friendly, so I definitely recommend it.“

“Service was prompt, and accommodating. The portions are generous, so I would say descent value. The server helped accommodate my requests/food allergies. BEST babaganoush I've had, I eat one in house and order one to take home! The House salad is also a favorite of mine. Falafels are delicious! Crispy on the outside, and tender inside. Chicken skewers were tasty as well; constructively perhaps a touch less time under heat to ensure a more juicy inside, but the outside was on point.

Temperature of the restaurant was freezing for my preference, maybe ideal if you are actively moving around but as a guest sitting still it was quite uncomfortable.

Overall a delicious dinner with plenty of time to visit, without feeling rushed. We have been in the past, and we will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.“

Ordered their pickle, deluxe and big apple pizzas. They did not disappoint.

“Start with fabulous food. Everything is prepped with love and don’t even start on the homemade desserts, chef’s kiss!It’s not just the food, it’s the people, the staff. Everyone is fab. We bring our little one that’s 10 for karaoke, she gets to stay until 9. No trouble, just welcoming lovely atmosphere. I love it there, as does my family. Thank you Tracie!“

The ambiance was a delight, the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders right when they opened and the bartender was nice. My pint of beer was nice and cold and my club sandwich was over the top awesome and left me feeling full. “I recommend the Locke St location which is excellent. But I just had delivery from either the King W or Dundas one that was brutal. Tortellini soup had like 3 Tortellinis and the burgers had clearly been pre cooked but not reheated tastied like cold grease and the cheese was not even remotely melted and still cold. Anyway the Locke location is awesome but wont do delivery again in case the delivery service goes to another location.“
