“August 8 never disappoints. The service isn't really that great. I found the waitress didn't check on us enough or ask if we wanted anything to drink after the first attempt. I guess it makes sense for an all you can eat restaurant.

The newest thing is that you can get a proper dessert 1 per person. A cheesecake, a creme brulee cheesecake, a tiramisu or mango peach cake. I wouldn't recommend the mousse cake, not much flavor kind of artificial tasting. I did love the cheesecake and the creme brulee one. Yummy. The tiramisu had good coffee flavor but not liquor. It isn't the traditional Italian flavor. I make a traditional tiramisu and I would say my homemade one is much more authentic tasting.

I would definitely recommend August ,8 to people who have different tastes because it's not just sushi. There is food for kids, and some meats and different dishes. I really love the steak teriyaki and the vegetable dish. I also love a good ceviche.“

“Great experience! Went to celebrate my brother's birthday-There was 12 of us. Really enjoyed the experience. Food was great-restaurant is beautifully decorated. Great protein options-Only thing I would add is some portions given were bigger than others. Overall we enjoyed everything. Also liked the fact they allowed us to bring in our own Birthday Cake.
