“I worked down the street for years but had only popped in a couple of times. After a shitty birthday last year, I was heading home when I said, “Screw it,” and went to Dave’s. Best decision I made that night. The band sang “Happy Birthday,” Dave covered my tab, and everyone there helped me end the night with happy tears, lol. It’s become a regular spot for me, and I’ve made some great friends.“

“We had supper at this location last evening with my husband’s two daughters and one our granddaughters, her boyfriend and our son-in-law. Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. He organized individual bills accurately and everything came as ordered. He is an excellent member of your staff, and we hope to be served by him at our next visit!!“

One thing that I noticed was that he came to check on us multiple times to make sure everything was ok with our food, in which is not done at many other places. From the moment we walked in, the decor and ambiance immediately whisk you away times gone by and the moody lighting , different levels and unexpected twists and turns of the layout create a sense of mystery and intrigue. The service was pleasant, not at the level that the sense of place demanded . The food was good without being exceptional. That was an intriguing little private room that can be booked for meetings, and the large cupboard area at the back, which could easily be transformed into a wedding reception area or corporate event. From start to finish, everything was absolutely top notch. Peter and his entire team were wonderful to work with, and they helped make our wedding evening truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to all of the staff, including the setup crew, service team, and takedown crew. Everyone was professional, attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire evening. It allowed us to relax, enjoy ourselves, and spend the night celebrating with our family and friends without having to worry about a thing.

And the food was unparalleled. The quality was exceptional, and the portions were incredibly generous—our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. We received so many compliments about the food, and it was clear that an enormous amount of care went into every dish.

We also received countless compliments about the venue itself, the atmosphere, and the service. Everything came together beautifully, and Edgewater Manor provided the perfect setting for such an important day in our lives.

Thank you to Peter and the entire Edgewater Manor team for helping make our wedding so memorable. Natalija and I are incredibly grateful and will always look back on our evening there with the fondest memories.

“Food was very subpar. the garlic loaf was cold, the soup luke warm, and the chicken fingers for $21 were coated in an oil based sauce that you could not see or taste. Asked for sauce to dip and it was mostly oil mixed with a hot sauce. Yellow Currie was ok but very bland in taste. stack quesadilla was luke warm did not come with sour crème or pico de gala. it had been a long time since we had been here and it looks like it will be even longer before we ever go back. I can say that the servers were pleasant and apologetic for what came out of the kitchen.“

“We drinks we ordered a Lavender Lemonade and Mojito to drink, both were really good.

For food we ordered a smash burger, buffalo chicken wraps, kids fish and kids grilled cheese with bacon. Everything tasted really good, none of us could complain.

Service was pretty good. A couple slow moments but nothing that affected our experience.

“I recently visited Milestones and honestly was overwhelmed with the chaos. Wait for food was long and when it finally came out it was cold but, our server fixed that problem immediately. Through all the downs of the evening our server Rachel always brought things back up. Despite what seemed like a very busy and possibly understaffed shift, she handled everything perfectly. She was so attentive and personal with us she really did succeed at making our evening better. “Highly recommended. So many options for food nearby but this one tops them all. I’ve been a regular customer at the Harbourfront location and would order there whenever visiting Toronto. I was ecstatic to see the Hamilton location opened near my place and my gym.

My only wish is that they had later, consistent hours. Sometimes, I’m at the nearby gym late and find that it has closed by the time I finish my workouts.
