“Had a nice lunch with the family.
We had a shared the meat platter (for 2) between three people and had some left.
Nothing fancy but a good variety of meets. Beer on tap is also nice.
Decor is authentic and pleasant, service was quick.“

“A very friendly (staff and guests) small-town bar and grill. The server, thanks Hayley, was exceptional, and the food was awesome. We celebrated a friend's 80th birthday and they offered him a complimentary delicious, and large, cheesecake desert, along with singing Happy Birthday.“

“Food was very subpar. the garlic loaf was cold, the soup luke warm, and the chicken fingers for $21 were coated in an oil based sauce that you could not see or taste. Asked for sauce to dip and it was mostly oil mixed with a hot sauce. Yellow Currie was ok but very bland in taste. stack quesadilla was luke warm did not come with sour crème or pico de gala. it had been a long time since we had been here and it looks like it will be even longer before we ever go back. I can say that the servers were pleasant and apologetic for what came out of the kitchen.“

“Stopped by today, as it is really nice out and decided to try the food. We took it to go, and I have to say, the food is fantastic and worth the wait! Emily deserves a special mention too - she is awesome, and you can bet we'll be back!“

“There are lovely people working here, the food is delicious, at a good price, and it's always a relaxed atmosphere.
I hear it gets crowded on weekends, but we like mid-week.

“Start with fabulous food. Everything is prepped with love and don’t even start on the homemade desserts, chef’s kiss!It’s not just the food, it’s the people, the staff. Everyone is fab. We bring our little one that’s 10 for karaoke, she gets to stay until 9. No trouble, just welcoming lovely atmosphere. I love it there, as does my family. Thank you Tracie!“

“Every time I come to Hamilton, I always make a stop here and order an abundance of Bifana sandwiches. 2 to 3 I eat there with about 6 beer and 4 Bifana for take out so I can share and have the next day. Just love the flavour and how Manny makes this traditional Portuguese sandwich delicacy.“

“The food was excellent and our server was great. We saw the restaurant on CHCH Morning Live last week and decided to go. The atmosphere is unreal, overwhelming actually!“
“I really really like the food. It’s like the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had and the burger was amazing too. I just hope that the server could stop asking “how’s it going” every 15 mins. I clearly has a face of I want to be alone but I still got couple servers that came to me. The restaurant was at a quiet time and it’s not near closing. So I wonder…I was just trying to enjoying my time😭“

“Nice little bar on barton street east not to far from center mall. Friendly bartender and other customers were nice and respectful. Drinks are priced reasonably, also cheaper than most other bars in hamilton. There are a few pool tables and a huge t.v for entertainment. They Also have a small patio area. Will definitely stop by here again when I'm in the area.“

“Tried to attend a 9 pm Church service in Toronto and it was canceled, arrived back in Hamilton after 10 pm where thr Owner, Pat, opened her doors to us with fresh hot coffee, wine and the finest of hospitality. That's what a great neighborhood is all about. I'll be back soon.Thanks, Pat.“

“Quick couple of drinks prior to a concert at TD Coliseum.
Knowledgeable about drink menu and our drinks arrived promptly and the server followed up as they got empty.
Plenty of seating - booths and tables.
Outdoor seating too.“

“it was mine and my girlfriends first time at a moxies restaurant. We had delicious food, it was a great atmosphere and music, and also had a great server named Ryan. One thing that I noticed was that he came to check on us multiple times to make sure everything was ok with our food, in which is not done at many other places. It showed that he cared about our experience and made it very pleasurable. His customer service was number 1.“
