The vibe and aura of the place are simply unmatched, and the live band playing classical Bollywood music was absolutely phenomenal—it energized the crowd and made for an unforgettable evening. We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday here, and the team went above and beyond to make it special with personalized live music and a cake. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the night even more memorable. The food here is absolutely incredible—nothing less than what you’d get at the best places in New Delhi, India, in terms of taste and quality. Every dish was a delight and added to the wonderful experience. A special shoutout to our server, Meet—he’s an absolute rockstar in hospitality and customer service! His attentiveness and warm demeanor made the experience exceptional. The hospitality industry, especially in the west, needs more people like him. I have no doubt he’ll thrive and excel in this field. Desi Bar & Grill is hands down the most lively pub I’ve experienced in Canada in my more than half a decade here. I find the flavors to be a bit bland but they do well at classic dishes like fish and chips. I'm a regular here because they have reliable gluten free/celiac-friendly options for my friend. She typically gets a burger and swaps for a gluten-free bun.“

“I absolutely love coming to Jack Astor’s, it’s one of my favourite places, and I’m here all the time! The food is always amazing, but my go-to meal is the New York steak and the lobster & crab dip. The dip is seriously so good and always a must-order.
