Merit Brewing Reviews
Said my order will arrive on Friday. Contact them Friday to confirm and they said yes it will be there Friday.
Nothing.
Come Saturday ask the same thing, and told it should be there again.
Nothing.
Emailed them in the days leading up to this and no response.
Left my number for a manager or supervisor call me back.
Still nothing.
Unsure if Merit is a scam brewery or what.
Would recommend to stay away.
Always great food, drinks and service! Some of my favourite beers are brewed by these fine folks.
Went to the Art Crawl event where you would expect establishments to prepare to be busy. Brought a family of 5 with a very very tired 80 year old who really needed a bite to eat after walking up James St. This place said their kitchen was open till 10pm on Fridays but after sitting down at 9:40pm we were told 'the kitchen is closed'. The elderly lady with us was really upset but this place didn't care. Staff looked bored. Avoid.

Merit Brewing is a brewery on James St. It is a special place for events and a great casual spot to meet friends for a cozy chat. The Merit staff are wonderful and take time to listen to requests. The food and drinks are so so good. Great beers, great food, and wonderful service. Guests especially loved the brisket. There is a great chocken Caesar salad, good IPA, and a vegan option. The house pickles are perfect and a must try for all pickle lovers. The Parm fries have a spicy honey drizzle that makes your fries sweet. Flights are available most of the time. It is a simple, solid menu. The vibe is seat yourself and order at the front, where you may share a long table with others. It is just a great vibe there.
