“A Mom n Pop shop serving authentic Northern Chinese food. We ordered the classic combo (Liang Pi + RouJiaMuo aka Chinese hamburger) and the Noodle with Sour Soup. All of it tasted amazing! The Burger was juicy, bun was soft inside and crunchy outside to hold in the meat juice ?. The Liang Pi was refreshing, tangy and sour, just like how it should be! The Sour soup was also really good, the owner highly recommended it. The noodles were perfectly al dente and the broth was ?. It’s right next to a trail which is really nice if you want to take an after dinner walk or something. “I came here last night with my boyfriend. We were walking around downtown hamilton and wanted to try out a new place and we came here because the menu looked incredible and also we were curious about the "rude staff" that other reviews claimed. The staff was soooo friendly and cute! Just be a good person and enjoy the food! They had great service, the atmosphere in the dining area was incredibly comfortable and the staff was helpful and patient. I wanted to try their Volcano ramen and two of their staff kept warning me that it was extremely spicy and when I got it, they did not lie LOOLL. If they claim something on their menu is spicy, they MEAN IT unlike other restaurants which disappoints you with mildly spicy food. Food was delicious, portions were great, and their milk teas had actual tea bags in them and it was good. They weren't busy so our food came quickly and they checked up on us a few times offering water. The restaurant also provides board games for customers and you can stay as long as you want to hang out. We stayed for 2 hours and it was amazing. We will definitely come back! “I have been craving Chinese food for a couple days now. I didn’t want the same old tasteless disappointing places, so I researched a ton of restaurants and ended up choosing Great Wall through Uber. The food arrived quickly and piping hot. I am so glad I chose this restaurant as it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and plentiful. The rice had flavour, the Cantonese chow mein was on point and the deep fried chicken wings were all delicious. Luckily I had my own lemons as the wings didn’t come with a lemon wedge. “We ordered food for takeout, a dinner for one (b) and Szechuan beef. Honestly it was terrible. I've been here before and it was alright, but this time I was worried I'd get food poisoning. The beef was pure fat and almost had the consistency of old jello, and the chicken was slimy. So flavorful and not too spicy. I tried both the thicker noodles and the 2 mm noodle, both exceptional. Super fresh, perfect texture, and generous servings of meat. So upset I don't live in Toronto otherwise I'd be here every week!“
“Always very good Western Chinese (Sichuan/Szechuan, Guizhou, Sha'anxi) and Beijing cosmopolitan food. They have the best crawling ants (long bean with minced pork and chillies...you can ask for vegetarian) dish in Hamilton. They also have a lot of really good cumin dishes (with lamb or beef). Sparkle also has a good crawling ants dish, but Great Red Peppers cooks it perfectly. Sparkle doesn't use a hot enough wok to do it properly.“

“Used to order from Lee’s years ago, wife and I got sick one time on some food. We tried another competitor in Dundas (won’t mention the name), and apparently it’s under new owners. Their food was just not very appetizing, so on New Year’s Eve 2023, we ordered BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls, and Tempra Battered Shrimp along with a couple of egg rolls. The food was hot and fresh, egg rolls were nice and crunchy with a lot of filling. Have tried the Won Ton Soup in the past, very nice tasty flavour of broth, mixed with pork won tons, spinach and mushrooms.
