South China has always been our go-to Chinese takeout choice for Cantonese-style food. Growing up in Markham certainly sets the bar for Chinese food very high, and ever since discovering South China nearly a decade ago I have never had to leave a homesick craving for crispy fried Cantonese chow mein unsatisfied ❤ (seriously, ask for the crispy noodle). Quick delivery. I got 4 teeny spring rolls, which were good but overpriced. The fat noodles with very tender beef were good but nothing exciting. The BBQ pork with rice wasn't impressive. Both rice and pork were dry and pretty tasteless, and the bok choy just took up space. Portions of noodles was good, the pork and rice was lots of plain rice, and it wasn't fluffy...it was like Uncle Ben's 90 second stuff. For the cost I probably won't order again.
Great family restaurant. My go-to spot for Chinese in Hamilton. Lemon chicken and Tao chicken are best in the city (and Tao chicken isn’t spicy and a must-get).

The food is ready on time, hot, and priced well, making it a convenient spot for a quick and tasty meal. Parking is available at the back of the building, perfect for this grab-and-go place.
