Dairy Queen in Hamilton

“I can’t say enough good things about this Dairy Queen location. I found myself needing a last-minute birthday cake today for my dad due to circumstances, and on top of that, he’s absolutely obsessed with his favourite soccer team. I called with a bit of hope but honestly very low expectations, knowing how last minute the request was and that I was asking about a custom design.

From the moment I spoke to the staff, they were kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Despite the tight timeline, they went above and beyond and managed to prepare a custom cake the same day in under three hours with his favourite team on it, which was far more than I could have ever asked for. The cake turned out amazing and completely made my dad’s day. Seeing how happy he was meant everything to me.

My dad and I come to this location all the time for a sweet treat, but this experience truly showed how special this place is. The staff and the owner clearly care about their customers, not just the orders. Their kindness, effort, and attention to detail do not go unnoticed.

“Went for a quick treat with dad as other location on king/Ottawa was packed. Was in and out at this location.

Sucks they got rid of the bench out front,.but because of the neighborhood I can understand why.

I would encourage this location to not allow drug users to hang around their parking lot and taking up parking spaces. As I sat and had my ice cream, people came and left once they seen the drug users sitting there passed out.
Maybe get together with the store hire security to discourage this behavior.

Would be nice to have a small table out front instead having to sit in my hot car.. bring back the bench.“

“I have been to this location a few times recently but the employees seemed uninterested and not helpful at all. Today I needed to pick up some things for a birthday and Alison was so polite and helpful. Its nice to see some people still have pride in their work and offer great customer service. Will definitely return.“

“Ladies were pleasant, and fast. Much better service than the Upper Ottawa and Stone church location. Exact same order in a fraction of the time. I visited after 9pm on Jun 9th via drive-thru (just so you know who was working, and deserves the praise).“
