19 Best Chicken Restaurants in Hamilton

“Been to Mary Brown’s on Upper James for the first time today. Restaurant was very clean. Anand was super nice and helped me choose the right amount of food for me and my daughter. Chicken was fresh and very tasty (better than KFC). However, I found the taters and gravy to be a little salty. The coleslaw was very good if you like it very creamy. Will definitely return, thanks Anand!“

“Previous to rebuilding the food was good here. I hadn't been back since the rebuilding. Happy to report the standards are still high and the food is fantastic. I personally love the neighborhood. The waitress was busy around lunch and one of the cooks noticed us waiting to order. The cook had no problem taking our order and giving advice for food suggestions. This simple gesture made a huge difference in the experience. I'll continue to recommend family and friends, can't wait to return. We visited on September 8th, 2026.“

“The food was amazing we had a chicken sandwich and the signature chicken meal 3 piece. It tasted homemade, the chicken was so deliciously moist, the fries were nice and crispy and surprisingly not spicy 😊, the biscuit was so soft and delicious 🤤. Popeyes has become our new favourite.“

“First time at this location. The food and restaurant overall was excellent. I wish we lived closer then i would hit this please up once a week. The chicken was cooked perfect and juicy. The sauce left available for anyone to use at anytime is a great idea. We were a group of 10 and no else was unhappy.“

“This is the best fried chicken in Hamilton, it beats juicy birds, Popeyes, KFC, Mary browns and churches, the chicken was amazing, the fries were unbelievable, very crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, the customer service was amazing too, we called and they didn’t answer but they called back and answered all our questions during the dinner rush, hands down the best experience we have had.“
