“Years ago we used to visit often, not sure why we stopped, I had a craving for pizza so we stopped at Neighborhood pizza on the way back home and I was not disappointed at all. Mushrooms, green olives salami and jalapeno peppers was a great combination, very well done!2lbs of wings smokey BBQ, were good, good amount and we happened to go on a half price day.Krystal our server was excellent.Definitely will be coming back!“
“Excellent Italian dining in downtown Grimsby. Their menu offers a wide selection of mostly North Italian dishes, plus they offer daily specials.My favorite lunch is Casio E Pepe, a simple veg pasta dish with angel hair pasta, Pecarino Romana, and black pepper, paired with a good Niagara Reisling (they have a extensive wine list).Nice patio in the summer, I've been here at least 5 times for lunch and dinner, and I've never been disappointed.“
“We just had lunch. I’ll breakdown the dishes, service and my overall impression and come to a conclusion.We had 3 dishes …I had the Salmone e Asiago. While I’m not a fan of risotto, this risotto was filled with little pieces of shrimp which was a delightful surprise. I liked it! Plus, the salmon was encrusted with a light layer of bread crumbs and Asiago cheese. It was tasty. I received a bit of veggie, carrots & zuchinni. My only preference would have been to include the salmon skin for the extra omega 3s and some extra crunch but, as is common in North American cuisine, nobody wants to do the extra work and descale the fish. My only small pet peeve and frankly I’m not targeting Just Cooking. Many, many places do this. Even many grocery stores won’t descale and, left to our own devices, we throw the skin out rather than descale. But I digress!My Mom ordered the “Fish soup”. While not on the menu, it’s served as a “Special” and is well known among the locals. They accommodated us and prepared it with plenty of fish and a good variety of vegetables. She really enjoyed it.My Sweetie order the Penne special. Her review is separate. She loved it.We ordered one tiramasu because they said “it’s big”. It was “big” and, as a dude in his 50s, I can’t see eating this by myself anymore and maintaining my svelte figure! Haha … it was delish!Service was cheerful. The ladies tried to please.Overall, I was surprised. Generally, I find restaurants outside Toronto are less competitive. They charge more for less. Was that the case here? No! For $30-$40 a plate at a full service restaurant outside Toronto, it seemed reasonable and it was tasty. They tried and did a good job. Can we ask for more?Just one last small request. Warm up the starter bread. “You don’t get a 2ⁿᵈ chance to make a good 1ˢᵗ impression.” Many places don’t. Here’s your chance to “stand out among the crowd”! ?“
“The best pizza and wings I have had in a long time this is my go to place from now on James is very Passionate about his food and how he makes it! It’s the comfort food and it’s made right! I live in Thornhill and swear by this place he makes it better than New York does and he knows his stuff. Brother James keep it up you are doing a great job and I will always come to support you.“
“We came in this morning for some donuts, and they did NOT disappoint!!! they had a huge selection to choose from each donut was flavourful/fluffy and with a rich topping/filling. Not to mention they are absolutely beautiful. Also very reasonably priced I feel like this will be our new Saturday routine ? thanks so much great job guys!“
“Really enjoyed this Charcuterie board restaurant .. Not the most intricate Charcuterie board but a lovely presentation with a good amount of cheeses and Charcuteries. I wish it would come with some sort of jelly for the cheese and more meat options. I would definitely go there again. The service was great and and the place was lively“
“Really impressed with dinner tonight at Oggi Bistro. Firstly, the restaurant is so cute and they have beautiful live music (not too loud at all) on Friday nights. The calamari was the best we have had. Really appreciated the owner making sure that we enjoyed in our meal. We felt as if our business was welcomed and appreciated and noticed the quality of the food right from the beginning with the complimentary bread and olive oil and balsamic. Will definitely be back!“
“Moved to Beamsville and checked out all the pizza places as usual. Hands down the best in my opinion. Take out once a month at least. Great sauce, great ingredients and NOT greasy. Price for size outrageously good. Never go anywhere else now.“
