“A buddy had mentioned to me that if I love good food I had to try the Grand Chalet. I live near Barrie Ontario so I said there is no way I would travel to Milton , don't care how good the Italian food was. My buddy kept on insisting that it was worth the drive so I finally gave in. All I can say is he was right , the flavors l just can't describe. I could go on and on but in short I will be making a trip to Milton real soon. BTW the service was of the chart.“
“Had a birthday day party for 15 last night and Domenic and Mike and their wonderful staff made the experience simply wonderful. The food was so tasty and delicious especially my favourite the spidinni. Everyone is still talking today about how good the food was. “This is a hidden gem restaurant. It's some of the best Italian food I've eaten. Ordered the cheese tortellini and penne pasta. Tray size that could feed 10 people for like $60. It is fantastic, and the family run business also has great friendly customer service. A must go if you're in the Milton area.“
“This is a great Italian fine dining restaurant in Milton. Not only the food is good but the owner is a gentleman and goes above and beyond to make your experience wholesome. They let us try a few wines before we got a bottle. Also got the calamari, bruschetta and the rose pasta. Checks all the boxes for me. Will go again!“
“The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious!!! The only downsides were the drink we ordered was a little too sweet, and the gelato was more like regular ice cream but all in all we had a good time and would love to come back again.“

“This was our first time dining at Locanda and we were thoroughly impressed! I had the roasted red pepper soup and Penne alla Vodka and they were both delicious! My husband had the 12 oz striploin and the Mista Salad (which was beautifully presented) and loved both. His food was so good that by the end of the meal he looked at his Crown and Coke and realized he hadn't touched it ?. We both finished off our meals with a perfect creme brulee!My only criticisms were that my soup was too hot... which sounds silly, but when you have to blow on EVERY bite, it gets a little frustrating - normally after the first few bites, a bowl of soup starts to cool down enough to eat, but this wasn't the case. It was still delicious though! The other criticism I have is that the service was a little off putting... it was Valentine's day, so maybe our server was just extra busy. But it was a strange, not very personable interaction.But will definitely be dining there again!“
