The pizzas are phenomenal, the pastas are amazing, and the desserts are exceptional. Love the atmosphere, plus has very friendly staff. Food isn’t too expensive either. “First time at Romero’s and it was fantastic. Staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. The food was incredible, steak and lobster so good, lasagna was delicious. Topped it off with some incredible desserts. We will definitely be going back.“
“Comparable pricing to other restaurants in Guelph, when it used to be considered expensive.The food was nice. We had a few starters. I ordered the pork and my partner ordered the daily fish feature, which was halibut. Flavourful and nice presentation.Service was prompt and attentive. We've been served by the same gentleman at their other location, and he was professional and pleasant, as always.Decor and atmosphere was also nice, if slightly too bright. That might just be me, though -- and I also realize it's an open kitchen and bar, so it's likely for the staff to be able to get through service safely.Thank you! “What a wonderful evening. I made reservations with Michael the week prior for a birthday celebration for 4 people. I asked if it was acceptable to bring in a cake and he said absolutely and would take care of serving it. The dinner was perfect, our friends commented on how wonderful the rhythm of the service was. We never wanted for anything and the food was so very good. Michael's presentation of the birthday cake was seamless and delightful for all of us. His intuition and extraordinary service made this birthday dinner absolutely unforgettable. I can't thank you enough.“
“We went on family day, for a birthday dinner. It was crazy busy, and our party of 6 was seated by the hostess at a booth, was very snug for 6 adults. As our party of 6 trickeled in and said the name of the reservation, the host just said "ya there here, just wonder around and find them"??? On an average day this would probably be fine, but on a very busy family day, it cause everyone to wonder around looking for us, not convient or efficient. The waitress who's name I forgot (sorry), was an awesome server and was on her game, making sure no one asked for a refill as she was very observant of the table, and did a great job bringing out the 2 cakes that we brought with candles. The food was OK, like everywhere it seems the portions where small but the prices still the same... all in all we had a good time“
