“My wife and I have recently moved to the Guelph area (Puslinch) and have been on a mission to find our “spots” to dine. La Cucina came up in a Google search for us as a pizza nite was in order. I wasn’t interested in a chain I wanted an experience.. well La Cucina you provided ?!. This cozy , authentic Italian restaurant gave us what we were looking for. Upon entering the Host Michael greeted us with some fun banter and informed us that even though we didn’t have a reservation he could accommodate us (thankfully). For future reference we recommend reservations especially at a peak time like Friday dinner hour. After being seated our server Maddie gave us the complete lowdown on the menu and pleasantly gave her recommendations. A meat and cheese board to share followed by a stone fired meat lover’s pizza. Our food was timely, well portioned and served with a smile ! We enjoyed an Old Fashion cocktail with our starter followed by a bottle of Chianti Riserva. Have to say the wine selection is extensive and the atmosphere begged the bottle as we enjoyed our time well past our meal. Whoever the Owner’s are you have nailed it ! Can’t say enough about this gem in the heart of the restaurant district of downtown Guelph. We will be back and Maddie yes it will be on a Tuesday for the pasta ?“

“Came here on a Saturday evening. The outdoor dinning was covered with an umbrella. One perk is that you can bring your dog.

The restaurant is situated in downtown Guelph, is clean and beautiful on the inside.

I tried the buratta , salumi e formaggi, pasta el pomodoro, vegetariana white pizza, and the branzino fish special served with vegetables and potatoes.

The food was really good, but for an Italian restaurant, I’m surprised they didn’t carry chilli oil, which is a staple!“

“It's the best pizza with the different cheese and base sauce which made the pizza scrumptious .. just by seeing the pizza my mouth went watery it's damn delicious ..
