“We recently visited Kelsey's Roadhouse in Guelph and had an overall positive experience. The food was delicious, the ambiance was inviting, love to occupy our favourite spot inside but right before the alfresco area and our server/hostess provided very good service. However, I did want to mention that our initial encounter with the her left a bit of a sour taste. When we arrived, she had her back turned to us and was focused on the computer, asking us questions like "Dine in?" and "Table for?" without even acknowledging us with eye contact. It felt a bit rude, to be honest.

But, I'm happy to say that she, our server more than made up for it with her attentive and friendly service throughout our meal. Despite the rocky start, we enjoyed our time at Kelsey's Roadhouse and would definitely return. Perhaps just a gentle reminder to the hostess to be more mindful of first impressions!”

“First time dining here. Great service, nice setting, although I wished our table was a smidgen bigger. I will give 5 stars for everything we ordered ( Woolwich goat cheese appetizer, the garden green salad, the Manitoulin trout and the peanut butter pie ) but I would pass on the pickerel main. The fries were good as was the coleslaw but the fish was a bit bland. Looking forward to our next experience though for sure and will sample some other menu items that sound delicious. “Yesterday we stopped at McDonald's and my sweet son whom can be a bit loud at times began singing full steam while using the washroom, I heard him and went..oh geez..but kept doing my order...sure enough, the manager (I believe) heard him and got worried went to go see of he was okay....my son came out and I saw the manager walking back with him and she said I heard someone yelling in washroom and got scared...I laughed and said no he likes to sing in there....singing for all to hear! And she smiles....and goes...I love that!.....she walks back to her tables but a few mins later she walks over...and asks matthew and I... can I offer you some treats for spreading the joy? We happily took some treats. Lol ? ? ?

“This Tim Hortons location is my favorite way to start the day. Vipan always makes it easy for me because he remembers my voice, which helps make my order process much more seamless. As someone with a speech impediment—stuttering—going through a drive-thru has always been a stressful situation for me. I appreciate Vipan's extra effort in recognizing my voice and assisting me in getting exactly what I want without the stress of ordering my coffee. I wish all employees were trained like this, as I know there are probably a lot of people out there who have similar struggles. Thanks, Vipan!”

“Red Brick is a staple to the Guelph community. I've been coming to this cafe for well over a decade and I hope to keep coming for decades to come. The food and atmosphere are awesome and the price point is great for an independently owned cafe.
Highly recommend the pesto grilled cheese for a quick bite.
Coffee and iced coffee drinkers: the price is good and the coffee is smooth/not bitter.

Never have we had a fruit cup that can begin to match the one here. A great way to start the day! Yes, it is bursting with raucous energy but there is a joy in the atmosphere from diners and staff that make it a positive place. Great food and full of life!”

“I really liked this place. My husband invited me, it is 15 minutes away from home, but this trip worth it for getting such tasty crepes. I got some crepe with peaches and latte, and Atul (my husband) ordered crepe Munich with pumpkin pie and some cold drink. Tbh I thought that pumpkin pie and crepe is a bad decision, but OMG I tried a little bit and next time I will order it !!!!”

“This is my go to place for my kid's birthday parties. The cupcakes are the best in town (I really like the mini cupcakes for young kids, perfect size) and their cookies are amazing. The owners are really nice people and go above and beyond for their customers. I recently had an experience where we had a mix-up over the dates for the cupcakes I ordered on line (I was having two parties on two separate days), the owner was very apologetic and went out of her way to make the situation right. I'll continue to come back here whenever I can.”

“The store is spacious and always very calm, with quality background music played at an appropriate volume. The service is extremely fast. The only downside is that the kitchen exhaust fan doesn’t work properly, causing the smell of frying to fill the environment. As a result, customers often leave with their clothes smelling like grease. I believe this is something they could fix.”

“I usually don't take time out of my day to write a review, but I feel obligated to do it after my experience. The two young gentleman running the place are probably only twenty years old. Their very friendly and mature well beyond their years. The service was fast, and the pizza was to die for. So many toppings. I got 2 pizzas loaded with toppings for only 20 bucks. Not only was the price on point but the pizza was the best pizza I have probably ever eaten. Crust was thin and crunchy but pizza was nice and chewy. I bought it for my son and wife and it was so filling that ate for lunch the next 2 days at work and it tasted almost as good as when first bought. Definitely my new favorite pizza joint. These guys know how to make a 20 dollar bill stretch. Definitely recommend. You won't be dissapointed. 6 stars TY!!”

“Very cute little bubble tea spot. Nice location to grab and walk around the downtown Guelph core. Lots of options and the staff member was fast and friendly. We tried the iced caramel coffee, iced pina colada and iced pomegranate green tea. All were delicious and gave us a great variety between the 3. I would definitely recommend this place.”

Food came out hot and fresh, and looked great, loved the flavour of the sauce on everything, the chicken pieces were crispy but not overly done or feeling like they've been sitting for a while and the green onion slices were a nice addition.
