“Connie and Michael catered a private dinner for 20 of us and everything was AMAZING. I cannot recommend them enough for any private events you may have. Connie worked with us on the menu, even modifying some menu items for our one friend who has celiac disease. We booked her for next year!“
“BEST COFFEE in Guelph. Hands down. No competition. Plus... they allow doggies in there. Hell yeah. Genuinely the best customer service, too- my husband slipped on ice while carrying our coffee and one of the drinks spilled, and he went in to buy another and they gave it to him for free. So kind. We love you, LA!“
“THANK YOU TO THE KIND STAFF MEMBER BROOKEThis goes out personally to Brooke. I was in Guelph this morning and completely turned around because I couldn't find the building I needed to go to. Brooke came to the ABSOLUTE rescue and I am so grateful for her kindness. Once Brooke was finished opening the doors to the store, she let me in saying "come get warm", above that she was so helpful allowing me to use her phone to call the person I needed to reach and shared with me the most beautiful wisdom that absolutely made my day. As someone who supports local, has worked in the cafe business and is not in Real Estate, I so appreciated her generosity. ABOVE and BEYOND, Brooke also handed me a baked good, FREE, and said to me "Kailee, today is going to be a great day". There are few kind people in the world who will take time out of their day to help a stranger, and I can not thank you enough. #SHOPLOCAL #smallbusinesssupporter #dtguelph #bloomThank you Brooke for your simple gesture that made a huge positive impact on me!“
“A mixed review for this place. I couldn't go to a big gathering for a grad celebration. They ordered appetizers and pizza which they say was amazing. I had covid and had to stay home so they brought me a Falafel Burger and I should have know better. I've ordered for pick up before and it's always been disappointing, but nothing else on the menu looked good to me and I have a fish allergy and have to be careful. When he brought it home it was even worse than last time. The Falafel was burnt all the way around. I had to take off what was absolutely inedible (50%of it )and the sauce was completely forgettable. The pieces that were burnt were so bad they made an audible "thump" on my plate. My husband felt so bad. First I couldn't go to the party and now what they brought me was not even a passing grade. So I will give it 4 stars because their pizza was very good. But for my burnt inedible Falafel Burger I had to take away a star. Not sure I'll ever order again from here I just can't seem to get anything good for me there and my office has ordered quite a few times for lunch.“
“Lovely dark roast Muskoka coffee. Freshly made and steaming hot with a free refill. I had the white chocolate brownie cheesecake and it was worth every calorie. Also a bonus chocolate covered strawberry. A lovely Valentines treat on a freezing afternoon.“
“The coffee is excellent. Staff are friendly. In terms of atmosphere it is different from a regular coffee shop because it's in an older commercial building, but there are tables to sit at. I would say it is more of a grab and go kind of place personally. The apparel they have for sale looks awesome.“
“Finally! A coffee shop that has space to it. Not a hole in the wall.Firstly I'm pretty tired of Ontario coffee shops. Many call themselves coffee shops or cafes but really they are either diners, restaurants, or an espresso bar, not a traditional coffee shop with space for people to chat while others are writing away like myself. Red Rock is the exception. And exceptional it is!Food - I was blown away by the grilled cheese and pesto sandwich. I think it's only $7 as well which is nuts 'cause it's more than enough for lunch. They asked if I wanted their homemade ketchup. Now ketchup and grilled cheese don't go hand-in-hand for me, but I have a twenty letter word that describes how good it is: ddddaaaaaammmmmmnnnn. It's incredible and pairs with the sandwich quite well.Atmosphere - Huge. This place is huge and there's tons of room for small groups, students to work, or writers like myself. Also a lot of comfy seating or normal wooden seat seating. Music isn't blaring so you can focus and due to the spaciousness, kids aren't echoing all over the place, distracting you. So fantastic.Staff - Friendly, personable, quick and attention to detail. Don't know what else to say. Tip them at least 20%. They are as good as Barista's go.Conclusion - This is going to be my go-to spot here in Guelph. I'm not from here, but I'll go out of my way to do some writing here thanks to Red Rock's existence.“
“By far the best butter tarts in town! The cheeky sign out front pulled us in and I got to say they were absolutely right! Love seeing new flavours come in, but our favourites have always been pecan and plain - although blueberry has snuck in as a sleeper favourite recently!“
“Heard lot about this coffee shop in Guelph’s social media pages. Usually I go to cut bar for my haircut and today I stopped by this place. Inside environment was amazing. Very clean & cozy place. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Since it was my first visit I let the staff recommend a hot drink & she recommended the white chocolate latte. The latte was very delicious. I will definitely visit this place again.“
“very student friendly cafe! been sitting there almost everyday for 8 hours to study and work and they haven’t kicked me out yet lolstaffs are friendly and nice ? i usually order on uber and then dine in due to my card issue but they put the food on the plate for me and let me dine in!foods and drinks are amazing. lots of seatings and the ambiance and atmosphere are chill. recommend to give this place a try :)“
“Top Notch coffee, attentive to details and if not the quickest service, the quality more than makes up for it. They have really yummy foods on the menu, and we've often been delightfully surprised by how good the soup of the day is.I highly recommend the avocado toast, and the Cobb salad is excellent! They are so, very friendly and care a lot about customer experience. My little kid loves having lunch here once in a while, he requests it!“
“Travelled from Goderich for a special luncheon to meet with my fellow authors from the "You Are... Enough" anthology. Six of us kept our server busy and she was always delightful and accommodating. The food was superb with very nice atmosphere and staff. Definitely worth the trip!“
“On our first visit with the cafe, we found it to be a pleasant atmosphere to relax and enjoy their breakfast menu. That was around a year and a half ago, now we are finding that we are here two or three times a week. The menu items are all extremely pleasant tasting and reasonably priced. Now that the Spring is here we can now enjoy the patio dining. With great staff and food, it now our go to for meeting with friends.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian menu is good as wellKid-friendliness: Good experienceParking: Close parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
“I'm absolutely in love with the Bullring and it's atmosphere. It really does feel like your own living room on campus. The food is pretty basic but hey it's also super affordable. They also sell sustainable and fair trade coffee if that's important to you, and a good portion of their selection of alcoholic drinks are from local breweries or mills. The various live music performances also never fail to warm my heart, including open mic nights on WednesdaysVegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options already on the menu, including tofu options, and they're usually happy to change things for your dietary needs. There are also several non-dairy milk options for your coffee.“
“Tried Puffle for the first time and loved the food, it was delicious ious. The inside is very nice and the people were nice. My only complaint was the windows were very dirty which made for not such a good impression as we walked in. Sorry. ?“
