“Have been to the location in Dundas and booked the truck for a party. Nothing but good things to say about both. Jen is fantastic, and warm. The kids loved the ice cream truck and I have enjoyed a few breakfasts and sweets from the restaurant. Worth the visit, and if you live in the west end, definitely look in to booking the truck.“

“As a former barista and bulk coffee distributor the most impressive aspect of this fine establishment were the varieties of whole bean available from roasters around the globe. In addition, the beans in their espresso machine are changed on a semi-weekly basis. Each visit you may be treated to a completely different origin or roaster.

The cafe has a small selection of pastries to compliment their beverage offerings. Prepared off site but baked in house allows for fresh and delicious taste experience. I had a ham and cheese croissant with everything bagel seasoning and it was flaky and yummy.

I will return to try the rest of their pastries as well as the treat of being surprised with a bean from a roaster from some part of the world I might have never visited.

There is street parking, accepted card payment, curated selection of whole beans for purchase, cute stickers, and friendly service.

The bar staff knows what they are doing, I trust their skill and knowledge. It would be easy to fall into a rabbit hole of coffee conversation with the staff.“

“A quaint neighborhood cafe with live music occasionally and open-mic on Tuesday evenings. The side patio is lovely with shady spots during the summer heat and plenty of parking. 10 outta 10 recommend 🙂“

The front of the restaurant is full of tables and couches in a dog-friendly area. All food and prep areas are in a separate section where animals are not allowed.

Nice options for treats to choose from, but I think my highlight was the service provided by the barista! I ordered a hot matcha latte and I saw her take her time in whisking the matcha while crafting the drink. It tasted wonderful and had no clumps at all.“

“Okay I had an appointment in the building and I walked by the cafe I was feeling a little dizzy so I got a toasted Western and before I left I saw someone else order a shepherd's pie it came with a nice salad and the portion was huge. I thought I should ask if they have a side salad so I got side salad which was still big! it had a house dressing that was a vinegarette.
First I wanna say that there was a lady cooking and the gentleman who I believe is probably the owner or runs the restaurant maybe they both run it I'm not really sure... but they were both so pleasant the restaurant was very clean I watched them wash their hands especially him he washed his hands several times after he used the cash etc ....

I have gone to bigger establishments and have not been as happy as what I was today!
So if you're in the area stop by and Grab something off the menu.... they had a lot of different homemade things ... there was a wonton soup there was a creamy sausage soup there was a homemade pennie they had sandwiches and a full breakfast .
There was all kinds of things it wasn't a huge menu but there was a big variety and then they had some muffins and then little cakes and stuff like that tarts and lots of drinks but I'm really impressed.

While we waited for our delicious, fresh pizza, they allowed my 15 month old to venture around the back, and they didn’t bat an eye! Very nice people working. Pizza and Donuts were delish!!!! “What a perfect hidden gem. We had just visited the RBG and were looking for somewhere to grab a bite for lunch. Scanning Google Maps, I found this café. I was so happy as our local ones have closed up and it was always a favourite for us. We ordered a sandwich to go as we chose to eat outside since we were travelling with our dogs. There are plenty of picnic tables outside with beautiful views of the harbour. The interior dining room looked so cozy with plenty of booths and a fireplace. The staff were lovely, and when they heard we were splitting dessert, they cut it nicely in half. I've added this to my map as a place to visit again when in the area.“
