Have been to the location in Dundas and booked the truck for a party. Nothing but good things to say about both. Jen is fantastic, and warm. The kids loved the ice cream truck and I have enjoyed a few breakfasts and sweets from the restaurant. Worth the visit, and if you live in the west end, definitely look in to booking the truck.

Jax Sweet Shoppe offers a fun and cozy atmosphere, making it a great alternative to chain restaurants. The breakfast menu features large portions of delicious food, including the fruit and nut and yogurt bowl and the regular breakfast with potatoes, eggs, and toast. The baked goods are also made on-site and are "just like mom used to make." The potatoes are pan fried & nice & crispy, and the baked goods, like scones and apple crumble, look amazing and taste delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming environment. This little gem is known for its fabulous food, awesome service, and a retro vibe that feels like Gilmore Girls. Many visitors plan to return, enjoying everything from the perfect poached eggs to the tasty baked treats.
