“If we stumbled across this restaurant by accident as I was Googling restaurants that have grilled potatoes. It was the best breakfast that I've had in years! And my friend that I was with can be quite particular, and she was blown away by how amazing everything was! Fantastic little sign, I'm sad that we didn't find it sooner! We will definitely be back“

“Cute little café with a nice concept. I loved the QR code ordering system—it gave me time to look through the menu and decide what I wanted without feeling rushed.
We sat on the patio, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s right on the street, and the tables and chairs were small and not very comfortable.
We ordered the S’mores Latte, the Ice Ice Baby cold brew, and two breakfast sandwiches (the Gatsby and the Malibu), which came to about $50. The Malibu was definitely the standout and was absolutely delicious. The drinks and the Gatsby were fine, but nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, it was a pleasant visit, but for the price, I was expecting a bit more. The Malibu was worth trying, but everything else felt a little underwhelming.“

“I had the breakfast poutine (minus the egg) this morning and it was superb. Very large portion, beautifully crisp fries and the amounts of cheese curds, bacon and sausage were very generous. We will definitely be back!“

“Pleasant quiet breakfast restaurant. I got the express breakfast: 2 eggs over easy was perfectly done. No old oil was used. potatoes with sausages. I asked for soft bacon on the side and it came out perfect. The rye marble bread was amazing. I’d come back here again.“

“Food was great, service was great, friendly and speedy. I dont understand the constant slamming of cutlery within earshot of customers not to mention if you sit near the back right the dish guy is right there and you will only hear dishes being slammed around and the loud irritating clanging of cutlery.“

“We have been enjoying breakfast at the Ancaster Egg and I for several years. That's testimonial enough to warrant 5 stars! Typically served by Michelle and Kim, we have never been disappointed in anything: friendly, personal, prompt and efficient service. The breakfast fare is varied, delicious, eggs prepared to one's liking and perfectly priced. A delightful morning out that we always look forward to!“

“Have been to the location in Dundas and booked the truck for a party. Nothing but good things to say about both. Jen is fantastic, and warm. The kids loved the ice cream truck and I have enjoyed a few breakfasts and sweets from the restaurant. Worth the visit, and if you live in the west end, definitely look in to booking the truck.“
