The worker is so kind and welcoming, and of course the coffee is amazing. We both got iced brown sugar lattes. Definitely a new spot for my partner and I!“

“It is the small things that often make a difference in choosing excellent coffee. Having a bag of coffee that I can re-seal and remove the air from via a one way valve is genius and is an extra cost for the manufacturer. “Went to Mr. Puffs (Dougall Ave., Windsor) for the first time tonight after dinner after hearing so many great reviews.They were all correct! What a gem this place is! The desserts are incredible! Special shout out to Riley who went through everything a first timer needs to know with such patience and care. Her recommendations were excellent! I even got a free 6 pack as today is my birthday! “Came here with a couple friends on a Sunday morning and it was honestly such a great way to start the weekend. The space has this warm, lived-in feel with exposed brick and mismatched furniture that makes you want to linger way longer than planned. I got a cortado and it was genuinely one of the better ones I've had in the city, really well balanced. Staff were friendly without being over the top, and the whole vibe just felt like a proper neighbourhood spot rather than a chain trying too hard.“

“I have had a lot of coffee from all over, the Guildsmen Cafe is one of the best. Very few places make a truly hand-crafted coffee. We have moved away and their coffee is one of the things we miss most. Highly recommend!!“

“With the Grain is my Saturday morning ritual. The coffee and baked goods are amazing. I stock up for the week with an oatmeal sandwich loaf (awesome for our Saturday lunch grilled cheese sandwiches), baguettes (they make for fantastic French toasts), croissant bread (which my daughter devours in her school lunches) and often something sweet as a treat - the brownies, bee sting squares and cinnamon rolls are always a hit! The staff is super friendly and I appreciate the loyalty cards for coffee and bread. The bakery itself is small but so quaint being in an old historical house. If you haven’t tried With the Grain, you’re missing out on a Guelph experience.“

“Planet Bean on Grange is the perfect place for morning coffee and muffin . The beans are traced to the source and the communities they come from are supported with your morning cuppa . Not only that but I’ve tried several other local roasters and Planet Beans are the cream of the crop . Each interaction with the Baristas is lovely : especially Ty who exudes compassion and joy in serving each customer . The other servers are very personable as well .

“This evening at Starbucks on Stone Rd, Guelph, I can honestly say that I had the best customer experience I have ever had at any Starbucks, or any food/beverage franchise for that matter. Thanks to the amazing service from baristas Preston, Patrick, and Sarah, who each contributed to a very friendly, helpful, and welcoming Starbucks atmosphere, I felt at ease right from the moment I stepped in the door. They also each demonstrated fantastic customer service as they helped me choose a meal and drink, delivered my order with exceptional quality and speed, and informed me about the various different promotions available at Starbucks. As I worked and ate, I also noticed how they all worked diligently to keep the building exceptionally clean and tidy, which I greatly appreciated after eating in so many unclean establishments. These stand out baristas and humans are the reason I will continue to be a loyal customer to Starbucks for years to come!“
