“It is the small things that often make a difference in choosing excellent coffee. Having a bag of coffee that I can re-seal and remove the air from via a one way valve is genius and is an extra cost for the manufacturer. “Came here with a couple friends on a Sunday morning and it was honestly such a great way to start the weekend. The space has this warm, lived-in feel with exposed brick and mismatched furniture that makes you want to linger way longer than planned. I got a cortado and it was genuinely one of the better ones I've had in the city, really well balanced. Staff were friendly without being over the top, and the whole vibe just felt like a proper neighbourhood spot rather than a chain trying too hard.“

“Despite seeing a few negative reviews, we decided to give Planet Bean Coffee – Garage a try, and we’re so glad we did! The iced Americano was absolutely epic – you can truly taste the difference in quality from their fairtrade beans. We also tried a vegan cookie, and it was just as impressive: fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The vibe of the place is warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. “With the Grain is my Saturday morning ritual. The coffee and baked goods are amazing. I stock up for the week with an oatmeal sandwich loaf (awesome for our Saturday lunch grilled cheese sandwiches), baguettes (they make for fantastic French toasts), croissant bread (which my daughter devours in her school lunches) and often something sweet as a treat - the brownies, bee sting squares and cinnamon rolls are always a hit! The staff is super friendly and I appreciate the loyalty cards for coffee and bread. The bakery itself is small but so quaint being in an old historical house. If you haven’t tried With the Grain, you’re missing out on a Guelph experience.“

Thanks to the amazing service from baristas Preston, Patrick, and Sarah, who each contributed to a very friendly, helpful, and welcoming Starbucks atmosphere, I felt at ease right from the moment I stepped in the door. “The food and drinks here are excellent. The service is okay but I find that it can be inconsistent. Sometimes, it takes 10 minutes for food but my drink was made quicker. One time I ordered a cold pastry and it took about 10 minutes to get to me, while the employees were standing around and talking amongst themselves. Overall, I enjoy coming to this Starbucks.“
