“Very nice makeover! Looks good, and now it's clean! You have got to get rid of the paper straws and the paper spoons. I can no longer order your ice caps or your chili. Those chemical laced paper straws and paper spoons should not be used. They taste horrible and leave a sort of rash in my mouth.“
“Hannah did a great job of serving our family! Bathrooms were a bit untidy but it’s Sunday brunch and it’s quite busy. Some of the options were additional charges when that wasn’t very clearly stated (fruit instead of fries, maple syrup etc). We had a bit of waiting to do for our food too but we were a family of 6. Great atmosphere! Very bright and clean! The skillet was awesome!“
“It's such a beautiful place with lovely decor! Staff was very accommodating with our request for vegan food and the food was oh so amazing! Such a good option of cafe for vegans. We'd definitely come back sometime again. This place (and even the whole of area around Elora mills) has such magical vibes.“
“Wonderful food, fantastic interior, and great location--on Northfield, between Bridge and University. Also a community-minded business. A must-visit establishment. Dog-friendly for well-behaved dogs on leashes. (I'm not a dog person, and I didn't feel nervous for a second.)“
“This place is popular and busy!-big variety of specialty drinks!!! Super fun and the menu seems to change regularly.-big variety of foods as wellI ordered the st Jacob’s sunrise. Asked for blended but got over ice which is fine, it was busy so I don’t blame them. Drink tasted really good and refreshing, but I just know if it was blended it would’ve been 10x better haha. Also ordered the beef empanadas with mayo it was really tasty. Came out nice and warm too.Space is a little tight inside but the food and drinks are well worth it.“
“It was love at first bite. Despite being deep-fried balls of dough, they are a world of difference from a Timbit. Sooo crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Loved the Bueno and Biscotti flavor; you won’t regret it!I wish they had area for seating as its a bit congested during rush hours. Overall great experience and do recommend them.“
“The Bingsu , this is place is so cosy and has a diversity of great desserts and drinks. One of my favourite icecream with strawberries cheesecake and was pretty delicious! Yummy ! Will definetely go again to try other desserts flavours. It is a bit pricey , but it tastes good !“
“Have been a long time fan, from the delicious drinks and treats to the adorable decor and merchandise. Today was my first time back post Covid. Staff was friendly and cheerful but the wait time was actually really bad. Had I known it would take 25 minutes to receive one bubble tea, I would have gotten my drink before my lunch. Unfortunately couples coming in after me were receiving their drinks before I did. Love the new straws and can overlook that they do break easily, because they’re much better than paper!“
“I have visited Queen of Hearts a handful of times and every experience is different… however the quality of the food and the very friendly service is always the same. We love it there and take friends and family visiting from out of town as a treat. The team really put their heart and soul into everything from the service, to the tea and the food itself. Highly recommended!!“
“I found Cafe O to be as one of my cozy spot in KW, perfect for just chilling! Tried their latte, which was alright, nothing too fancy, but the atmosphere totally made up for it. The place feels so warm and comfortable, with cool decor adding to the cozy vibes.Definitely planning on going back to try more of their offerings and enjoy the awesome atmosphere. Can't wait for my next visit!“
“This place is fantastic! Lots of selection, great prices, delicious treats, and an owner that is incredibly thoughtful and kind. We’ve just started coming to this store and my only disappointment is that I didn’t start going earlier. If you’re looking for something…more…try coming here. It’s conveniently location being close to St Jacobs market and Conestoga Mall“
“We had dinner at Elora mill and randomly googled best coffee cafe in Elora and we discovered this boutique cafe, we were lucky to visit this place on Tuesday,, the cafe was full with local shop singers, not a single seat was vacant, we had a very good time listening to the music and songs, stayed there for over 2 hours,Loved this place, if you are in Elora check the music events schedule,Parking: Street parks ng available outside cafe“
“Great spot with fantastic and friendly staff. Sometimes it can be a little busy, but what should one expect with a place so nice? :)Parking: If the road isn’t free just across the street, behind the LCBO, is a 2hr free lot that usually has availability!“
“I stopped by this cafe for the first time and had a great experience! Unfortunately, they don’t have iced coffee yet but the manager (or owner?) recommended their Chai Latte and I loved it! The service was great; you can tell they care about their customers! :)“
“Great cafe in a great location uptown. The food is delicious, I especially enjoy getting a panini with a side soup. The place also has a really neat local beer selection that you can’t get at LCBO! Overall it has a really fun and friendly vibe. Definitely “
“Excellent customer service, and great variety of products/flavours. The staff at Gold Roast Coffee always goes above and beyond, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the service. I would highly recommend Gold Roast Coffee to anyone looking for a supplier - they have Coffee/Tea related EVERYTHING.“
“What a delightful café. It's rare these days to get attentive and warm table service in cafes-- and the coffee and tea menu is great, as are their selection of sweets and sandwiches of all kinds. I've been to the café a few times and quickly was made to feel like it was a second home. I highly recommend Café 22 on your next visit to downtown Waterloo; such a treat!“
“I always come to this location. All the staff are really polite and nice, and I had a mixup happen with one of my drinks, and Erica went above and beyond to fix it. It's the thought that counts. Thanks alot ! I'm not even a big fan of coffee but the service is impeccable!! Thanks everyone you are all great and your efforts don't go unnoticed!“
“Stopped in during St. Jacob’s Sparkles event and had the BEST pickle grilled cheese. The guy who made it, Curt, was very friendly and fast with service. It was busy but the staff was on top of it and making sure everyone was having a great time. The store was very well stocked, they had plenty of staff who were very friendly. Seems like a really great change. We will definitely be back. They need to keep the pickle grilled cheese on the menu!“
“I got 6 croissants and garlic bites.Chicken cheese: it was not for me, it was a bit too sweet and just not great overall.Caramel almond: I feel something is a bit off, maybe the filling but overall nice, especially the croissant.Raspberry Pana cotta: some bites were good but some bites were bad, the filling was not for me but the croissant is nice.Chocolate banana: had nice filling, a lovely croissant it's absolutely delicious and great with the bananas on top, my favourite item and probably one of the best croissants I've ever had.Strawberry: the croissant was pretty good but a bit overdone tasting and textured, in my opinion but good with the strawberries on top.Garlic bites: I did not like the texture of the croissant nor the flavour of the garlic spread it was oddly sweet, my least favourite item.I'd go again just for the chocolate banana croissant alone.“
“Wonderful little spot in the village of St. Jacob's! i'm surprised that i'm the first reviewer as this place was quite busy when i went in! Service was very exceptional and very knowledgeable. The lady working: Brynn, suggested the brownies and oh my goodness are they delicious!! (she also poured me one of those fancy coffees and at a good price too!!) Very much recommended coming by if you're in the area!“
“A cute little bakery with some delicious options. They did also have a small gluten free selection (but not certified). We tried the caramel eclair, berry tart, alcoholic mint truffle, and the poppyseed apple. All were delicious!Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free options, but not certifiedParking: Parking lot across the street, free for 2 hours. Many spacesWheelchair accessibility: No stairs, big open door“
“I was trying to find an online survey but couldn’t find it. I came here to get my drink because I work in the same plaza. The person that served me her name is Berry. Made the drink super nicely it seemed to have been done from the heart I think she deserves a promotion. If you are the manager reading this please let her know that she’s doing a great job. Thank you Berry!“
“Distinctly Tea is one of my favourite go-to tea stores. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable. They have an amazing tea line up-there's a tea for everyone here! The store also carries fantastic tea accessories to make your everyday tea ritual special.“
“I went through the Woodstock drive thru today and was helped by the most amazing employee. He was so upbeat and funny while taking my order and honestly made my day. When I got up to pay he told me that the drink was on him. I was having a crazy day and he will never know how much this gesture coupled with his great attitude meant to me. I believe his name was Shane or Sean, I know through past interactions he has transferred from a Toronto location and I just hope Starbucks Canada recognizes how amazing he is!“
“I love this place. Usually I go here with a laptop. It’s busier during weekends but still the wait time is very less compared to other breakfast places nearby. The hosts are wonderful. The coffee and food is great. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered till now.If you are looking for a brunch then - Taaza Bowl is a very good option. The quality of food is excellent. I always have to take away as I can never finish.Love their house coffee. Probably it’s Vincenza. But I’m not 100% sure about it.The music is a bit loud so if you’re having a company then might have to talk a bit louder than normal. I usually go by myself to work on a weekend morning so I’m cool with this.Highly recommend this place for a good breakfast or brunch.Parking: You can find underground parking along with open parking.“
“A pretty typical Starbucks, complete with random people working on their MacBooks. Nothing special about my cappuccino but it wasn’t bad either. I’m partial to Tim Hortons though.Dietary restrictions: They had alternate milk. Almond milk, soy and coconut milk are all available.Parking: It’s a tight parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Didn’t see any stairs there.“
“There is a wide variety of drinks and toppings available. The price is average for bubble tea, and the service was quick and friendly. Our orders were taken quickly and our drinks were prepared shortly after. The matcha roasted milk tea was delicious and not too sweet.“
“Service was excellent and friendly. There was a line up but it went quickly. The seating area was small in relation to the number of people inside. The atmosphere was alright. It's a somewhat small Starbucks. Would definitely go back again.Parking: Would never run out. Next to a Sobeys.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up the curb. Didn't see the bathroom.“
“Great service, great baristas! Fast and reliable. Their coffees always taste great. The only downside you cannot use to redem points here!Parking: Big parking lotWheelchair accessibility: AccessibleDietary restrictions: Tell them and they will help you out“
“No napkins, no straw for my milkshake, my black coffee was watery. That being said, I would normally rate a restaurant like this one or two stars but the fact that I didn't have to deal with a single east indian nor did I see even one working there, I have to give four stars, that makes all the difference in the world and tells me as a customer that this McD's is very well managed.“
