“We arrived for 5:15pm for our dinner reservation. It was our first time here. We were checked in very quickly. Our hostes was lovely and excited to hear we were there for the first time. Our server was Emily (I hope I got her name right). She was great at explaining the menu and giving recommendations. We really liked that she didn't rush us and made it a very comfortable experience. Appetizer we had the mushroom toast, it was a good portion for two people. Drinks, my husband has beer and I tried the Berries in Bloom and Quebec 37, I enjoyed the Quebec 37 more. For mains I had the potato thin crust pizza and my husband had braised beef cheeks. Both were good portions and delicious. For dessert we had chocolate torte, tasted good but was the smallest dessert we probably ever had at a restaurant. We wish the portion was bigger. After dinner we went to the bookstore next door and picked up some games.“

“Three of us enjoyed a fantastic meal this evening. The chicken souvlaki dinner was perfectly done and very tasty. My husband reported that the stuffed chicken (spinach, goat cheese, peppercorn sauce) was delicious. Great menu, generous portions and very hard to choose among a number of home style favourites — so we’ll just have to go back. This small restaurant is tucked away in a neighbourhood strip mall — who knew? But it was pretty much at capacity by 6 p.m.“

“Great pho place in Guelph! Lots of menu items! Food is delicious. Shrimp rolls were so fresh and the beef pho was very tasty! Highly recommend their green tea too! I loved it so much that I bought a jar of it to take home with me! Check them out. You won't be disappointed!“

“This was my first time here and the staff offered Excellent and kind service. Their takoyaki came out so fresh to order and just completely melts in your mouth it was very yummy. Their chicken onigiri was so good I know where to go to get a light snack and meal. It is a bit on the pricier end but it’s totally worth it for great food.“

“Great place to eat. Friendly staff and quick. The food quality and portion sizes are good. The beef dip is delicious and they put so much beef in it (typically at other places it's about 2 to 3 slices of beef, but this place puts in 8 slices i think). I recommend this place.“

Our server, Mansaaz, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of. Great customer service and a really welcoming experience.

I’ve been to a few Swiss Chalet locations in the area, and you can definitely tell when a team takes pride in what they do. Stone Road really stands out for its service, cleanliness, and consistency.

“Definitely worth the effort to get here! The street construction makes it a bit of a challenge to reach the restaurant right now, but don’t let that stop you. The poutine is absolutely delicious, the Tragically Maple burger is fantastic, and everything was well worth the extra effort to get there. If you’re craving a great burger and seriously good poutine, I’d definitely recommend making the trip!“
