“This place never ceases to impress! We had a lovely lunch on Saturday; we were a total of 3 adults and 4 children. The staff, service and food were phenomenal as always! The GM, Aaquib Mohammed and crew are always a pleasure to deal with and make sure we always leave happy. If you want to try the best pizza in town, you need to give Famoso a try!“

“Our whole family gathered on Saturday, 25 strong to celebrate our parents lives. Thank you Millie for great service and a big thank you to the kitchen, Andy and staff , for a fantastic meal. Kids loved the saganaki and the adults all raved about the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich and of course the souvlaki. Been a regular here for a number of years and have enjoyed every meal. “I want to personally thank the team at Sole for such an amazing birthday dinner !! The few times I have come I have always had a great experience but when I went to book online it looked like it was full booked up. Aniko saw my post looking for different options made it happen and found us a table! I thought that was the great deed end there but the whole experience made me feel so extremely special. Being welcomed in like I was a friend to when I got to my table I had flowers and a birthday card waiting for me🥹 those who have December birthdays know we often get slacked but the team made me truly feel special! Drink options were delicious and made fresh. Had a baked Brie with fresh mixed berry sauce as an appetizer. Dinner was phenomenal I had smoked chicken (tasted like the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had) and for dessert they came out with a special birthday crème brûlée and truffles! As a group we also ordered the triple layer chocolate cake (will be something I will be dreaming of for a while haha). To share what my friends had- a salmon with a salad and beef short rib. Everything was so delicious and cooked perfectly. You can tell they take time to think about proper pairing/flavouring and how to make the food taste good. “We always eat here when visiting Waterloo. Food is great, but the staff draws us there even more so. Friendly, attentive, but do not over-serve.“

“We arrived a few minutes early and they greeted us warmly letting us know they would seat us shortly. They seated us at our reservation time at a table we were not happy with. We requested a move and they had no problem moving us elsewhere. The waitress dropped off the menus and came back about 10 minutes later for our drink orders. We were ready so ordered everything. Our drinks didn't take long and due to how busy the resturant was our food only took about 20 minutes. Everything came to the table hot and we all agreed each dish was delicious. The server came by a couple of times to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything more. The manager also stopped by to check on us. The noise level was moderate and the seating was comfortable. We well stop by again in the future.“

“Came here for a birthday dinner and had a great experience! The hosts and servers were warm, kind, and thoughtful throughout the evening.
Unfortunately, we watched another guest become very upset and rather rude towards a young hostess before even being sat, and thankfully they chose to leave. Watching the team remain friendly and composed during this interaction was impressive- great reminder that restaurant staff are always dealing with far more than guests realize!

“I decided to stop in today and grab lunch . I ordered the Kibbeh . Now I have eaten this dish all over the world and had Armenian and Egyptian friends make it for me , And today’s was by far the best I have ever had . I am fighting the urge to go back and order more .“

“I will start with the positives. I definitely recommend Ken Sushi, every experience has been great except this one! Today we were not happy with the service. Our waitress was very pushy and made us feel like we were eating at a fast food restaurant! We felt like we were being hurried to place our order and not given time to decide what we wanted to eat. We had to remind Sunny that we ordered tea, the first item delivered was the gioza and they had to be returned because they were over done. We had to remind her that we ordered Miso soup. The food was ok but the service made the food not enjoyable. We tried new dishes suggested by Sunny but if we took the time to order we would not have ordered the grilled octopus. Dining out is not just about the food but the entire experience and this one was bad!“

“Visited Shinwa today to try their chicken pakora, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. It was freshly made, served perfectly hot, and every spice came through beautifully. The side sauce had a tangy, vinegar-like kick that paired perfectly with the pakora. The quantity was perfect for two people.

I’d highly recommend this as an evening snack—definitely a must-try! Looking forward to coming back soon and exploring more of their amazing menu.“

“Great food. Lots of varieties to choose from. Seems very popular with the university students. Well run restaurant - appears to be family run. Very friendly and polite. Enjoyed the smoothie and drinks as well. If you are looking for good wholesome Korean food, I would strongly recommend this restaurant. Loved the Bulgogi Bibimbap, BulGoGi Ddukbaeki and Jjang Myun noodles. Will be returning here to try out other items on the menu.“

Went in at 7:30 and had no clue what I was gonna order.
The young woman was patient with me. I think it was 750 by the time I got my food. And she had no problem with me sitting there and eating, even though there was only 10 more minutes until they were closing.“

“Edit. Quality seems to have gone down recently. I love the teriyaki chicken pizza and the last couple times I've ordered it the chicken was mostly fat and grizzle. Very disappointing
